A BUSY and FUN weekend! Brenen will never forget that weekend, thank you for all the young men who were able to stay and make his last two days in San Diego so memorable. :o)
I took all our lawn/soccer chairs, I had to borrow a few from my neighbors, set up a so called camp site in our room over the garage. That room is HUGE! The computer, big TV, space and XBOX in it. I had all the boys bring a sleeping bag, if they had one, swim trunks and their own XBOX controllers. After they were done playing on XBOX......or computer.....or what ever they were doing up there, they folded up the chairs, put them to the side and made their beds. I tell you what, BEST idea EVER!!!!! In the mornings, they folded all their blankets, sleeping bags and put their pillows up. Then they unfolded their chairs, VIOLA! These are 12/13 year old boys. They were SO polite and so kind. They were so patient with my little monsters. Man OH man, they loved the pool and jacuzzi. I had all the boys come around 6pm on Friday and stay till 11am the next day. Weeeeeelll, the didn't want to leave, to be honest, I was enjoying them being there too! They came out of that room to eat, bathroom, basketball, and swim! Fine with ME! Everyone of them stayed another night! It was a good thing. :))) Everytime they were outside, my little guys were outside and wanted NOTHING to do with me, I LOVED it! I even got kinda bored, I sat at the dinning room table and painted my nails at 2 in the afternoon, YEP! OH how these boys can eat, UGH!

I'd walk into the room these young men lived in for two days and it was soooo humid and stinky! WET trunks and undies everywhere! Yep, undies! I told the boys to put their wet stuff in the dryer and I will dry them. I would walk down the stairs and find someones, NO clue whose, wet undies laying on the railing, floor, outside on a chair, and even a few made it into the dryer! HA! They were way comfortable at the Burney house! I would dry their things, take it upstairs, slowly enter the "dome room," dump their "stuff" on the floor and let them sift thru it. Yep, and when all was said and done, I still had undies left at my house that no one claimed, YIKES!!!!!!!!! ;)) Thank goodness I left everything with the Matfaa Family to.......give back to whoever wanted to claim their.......undies! ;))
UGH! This weekend was memorable for Nevon too! ;)) Yep, a broken window. Nate and Andrew, Nevon will remember you two! ;)) HA!
Aiden had his best friend, Calvin over on Saturday night. They had a BLAST! The big kids let them get in the jacuzzi with them, at night! The big boys took turns throwing them into the pool from the jacuzzi, whatever! ;)
