Steel Days

We had so much fun going to Steel Days with some of my family. The kids loved all the rides. Luckily my mom bought some tickets ahead of time so we were able to ride more rides. The kids all had a blast with their cousins. Grandma and Grandpa even took the kids on the Ferris Wheel since I couldn't ride. 

After going to the carnival part we headed to the park by the temple. We got together with one of Bryson's cousins and did some more games. We will we definitely head back next year. There were lots of fun free activities. There was also a movie afterwards but we had watched it earlier in the day so we headed home for the night. 

The next morning I took the kids to the parade. Bryson's parents and a couple siblings were in the parade this year representing the Fisker/ Range Rover store. It was fun to cheer them on as they passed. After they finished some of them came and met up with us. The kids loved watched everything go by. Akoy had saved up some of his money (that he practically takes from everyone) and bought some treats and umbrella hats!

A Night with the Kids

 A couple nights ago, we were invited to Bryson's cousins' daughters birthday. She is only a month and a half older than Akoy. They had the party at a jumping place in Orem. The kids had so much fun. Especially my oldest kid, Bryson. I'm glad he left studying a little early to come. The kids loved playing with their dad. Bryson made the comment after that he wants to go back with his friends later so he woudln't have to stick around the kids section. I wasn't much help being pregnant. I went in a little and had fun. Happy 4th birthday Maleia! I had a hard time figuring out settings on my camera. I really need to learn on to use it. One day.

Birthday Girl!

After the birthday party we headed to Trafalga. This summer we bought the "Pass of all Passes" and thought we should start getting our moneys worth! Ellis invited us since they have the pass as well. It was a lot of fun to play around. We rarely go out and do things like this, let alone two events in one night! Everyone went Lazer Tagging while I hung out with Lily and Gavin. Afterwards, we rode the bumper boats. I didn't want to get my hair wet but it turns out kids thought it was funny. Torrie and I thought we were safe. Afterwards when the guys did it they SOAKED each other. Lily was NOT a fan of being squirted. She was in tears most of the time. Akoy rode with Cassidy. He thought it was hilarious whenever Bryson would get wet. He was laughing up a storm. They also had some other kiddie rides that the kids loved. Lily was afraid of a rocking boat. I put her on crying. After it started, she loved it. Then I had to take her off crying because she wanted to stay on! We will defiantly be going back. I love that all these things are free with the pass! Unfortunately, I didn't get a lot of different pictures.. oops!

Since coming to Utah we haven't gone off and done much as a family. It was fun to spend the night with our kids. We need to get them out more.

Splash Pad: Alpine

I met up with one of my friends, Amber and her kids this week. Our kids are all super close in age. The boys like the splash pad and the girls were super hesitant. Lily rather play with the water in the drinking fountain. I was always one of those people that vowed not to put my daughters in bikinis and tank tops. Until I had Lily... she's just to darn cute in them! I couldn't help it! At first, she kept trying to pull her bikini down. Then she was wiping up the floor with her blanket and it looked like she was doing push ups. I think she was just trying to work out her body! :)

After the splash park we had lunch and the kids just ran around and played. It was fun to get the kids together. Akoy keeps asking if we can go to Ryker's house.

Summer so far- May & June

 We have had lots of fun this summer. We have kept pretty busy!

Cafe Rio is a must!

 One of my teeth started hurting really bad. After a couple days I finally went it. I have already had a root canel on the tooth and they couldn't do anything more so they had to do surgery  They cut in my gums across a few teeth to lift the gum up and work from the top. My tooth root had split and the other canel was giving me greif. After removing some tooth and cyst they were able to treat the split root. I ended up getting 5 stitches which made brushing a pain. Luckily it took all my pain away! Just made a big dent on the credit card... oops!

Spent lots of time with these cute boys! Truman and Fitz were born and in the hospital for a month or so. Its fun going to Brittany's to visit them. Even though Lily makes things complicated when I try to help Brittany with them. We can't wait to see the cordless versions!

We have seriously done so much more! I've been bad about taking pictures. It's been so nice being near family. The kids get spoiled with all the attention they get. We are ready for the last half of the summer! Bryson takes the Bar in a month! Then we get to head out for Disneyland for Akoy's birthday! (or just the timing, he doesn't know the difference!)
