Gimme a Bweak~
yups..exams are over.(results coming out in around 3weeks from now, i guess. ~.~)
Now i'm doing an inter-sem module.. just a single one as opposed to 7 or 8 during a normal
school term. Its for the sole purpose of clearing the electives...yup.
I'm currently looking for a weekend part-time job also..any kang tao..? hah.
Recently... i have a friend who broke up right before the exam period... and another who got attached but well she's already in the work force. So the only common point is in the time frame.
Some things got me thinking... love can really blind you sometimes. OR, if you choose to be blinded by it. My dear friend here..he chose to ignore his girl's mum's disapproval of him & went ahead with the relationship. Now he's out of love after a few months.. hurt and wasted feelings on a girl he most probably did not have a chance to keep in the 1st place.
She is a single child..and yes do i have my reservations about 'single children'.
Maybe the mum was thinking that my friend wasn't good enough for her child. But to me a big alarm rings in my head at the thought; should you ever control your child in affairs of the heart?
Where does guidiance...heck control end and freedom begin? Although I must admit parenting is not easy to begin with..
I've got a statement in my head today.. do you think it holds true.. for lasting bgr?
(without a 3rd party intervention, of course.)
"Love with your heart, manage(the relationship) with your mind and communicate with both."
