Blue Warriors

Blue Necron Warrior blob finished. This time it was a different approach for the gausse weapons. More of a central glow from the rod, then the entire rod glowing the same. I think that it turned out quite niece. The blue color scheme is a nice difference from the standard Necron green.

Blue and Immortal

Just a bit of work on the guns now....
Those guys are a bit converted. They have legs from the Lychguard and heads from triarch pretorians.
Don't know about you but I like a uniqe look to an army. I have this concept to make a Necron army where warriors are based on the Immortal models. I would use the hands, heads and weapons from the warriors but the rest from the immortals could be cool.

Felblades and flames

As some of you may already know there have bee some work appearing in the Den by two lovely ladies. Paulina and Kasia. So now the more feminine part of the painting studio is working on a Daemon army commission. They aren't fans of mini wargaming but we can turn that around ^^.

Kasia is keen on sculpting /conversion work so she with no hesitation added more awesome to already awesome bloodletting models. The flames on the Felblades are her handy work. I must say I like what I see here.

When some models for the commission wore assembled and ready to go, the girls started painting. Paulina having more time on her hands managed to almost finish up the bloodletter and boy did she do a hell of a good job.

Those flames are an example that those two can work together to make some awesome minis for our enjoyment. I think that with more practice they will rock even more.

2 Bats 1 Girl

Swamp theme, check.
Two big undead killing machines, check.
One rootless bloodthirsty bride, check.

Vampire counts project done. I really like the vallejo water effect. It gives the model some cool features. My favorite picture is number 4 with the hand sticking out of the swamp and the bat head in front. Like from some horror scene of a movie. Hope you like it.

Lady of the Swamp

Remember the two big bats that I'm working on? Well, this one is the bat's master. An original Vampire bride made from a wood elf spellsinger and from Isabella Van Carstein.

The Queen

Kosa almost finished the Queen for Red-White Necron army. As our client requested we tried to achieve phaerony-lady look and still keep her cold and bad-ass as all Necrons. What do you think?

We cannot miss boobs here... Those were a real challenge for us. Now it is time to give her to our painters.
Miniature painting service girls cannot wait to lay hands on her :)

Swamp Terrors

Hey guys just some work in progress pics of the Vampire Counts project. Two Terrorgheists and a Lady to order them around. I really like the swamp theme that the client chose. It was a while since I did a swamp themed bases. I like to play around with dead stuff place in the thick murky waters.

The swamp is done with some Vallejo Still Water plus dark angels green paint. I suggest not overdoing the paint to give the still water a bit of a transparency effect.
