i'm still feeling a sense of nostalgia but of course, happy that i'm back!

to celebrate that, i went out with kaiying and sherlin after a looong time. it really has been ages since we went out to catch a movie. omg, it's like our second movie in a year!! pathetic number of movies if you ask me. in year 2006 we could watch 3-4 movies in a week! but oh wells, their A's are just arounr the corner and my busy life as well!

i had a nice good long sleep considering that we were exhausted, i woke up late and of course arrived late in meeting them. they were waiting for me at coffee club and had refreshing coffees!

went shopping and shopping around, derrick had said shopping is my weakness when we were ubin. haha! wanted to bu NUM slippers since they were on a 20% discount for two days only. but didnt get to buy one in the end. headed off to vivo's marche. kaiying's mom treated us to dinner, woohoo! i tell you, it was a good meal after being in ubin. we had mushroom soup, calamari rings, porkloin, some chicken herbs pizza and some more. oh the calories!

at least my legs looked shiny, maybe it's a bit tanned and darker, hahaha!

walked around vivo again for a little window shopping. we met a few people today. like baoting, huimin and all. kaiying's mom and sis met us and had starbucks and they went home while i walked around at vivo, the place where it overlooks the sea.

i was sitting down, looking at the pictures in my camera when two filipino ladies approached me to help them take a picture of them. and as usual, i would befriend them and make friends with them, for i'm proud to be a filipino. and it turns out they were engineers. then there, they were talking and telling me the gist of being an engineer. oh gosh, my mind is in a whirl.

really confused.
i wish i had the power, the intelligence the make good decision.

yeah, so this is how mundane and boring my holidays are right now. i'm more of like living for the moment. and i've actually use my saliva a lot of times in a day because i talk endlessly on the phone, i think everyone's voice is going to sound similar on the phone. haha! kidding.

for now, i can't wait for two more weeks cause by then i'd finish my four/five weeks of work and can go shoppinggg and enjoy the rest of my holidays. haven't been going out much =/ i still have yet to watch that M18 movie with Kaiying and Sherlin!

i've been completely addiceted to using the laptop such as that my mom had caught me using it in the.. yes, in my cupboard. but for now, before she catches me again, i've to say bye and goodnight! HAHA! joking! but since she caught me, and i've been restrained from using my ever essential need, i've been sleeping at earlier hours which i've never done in a while. like at 12am or 11pm.

So we planned to go out have fun and at the same time, go and collect our testimonials fom school. like finally! it has been ages sicne we were finally given our official testimonial and certificate. it was in nice folder, just like the folder they put our graduating certs in.

we waited for Joy to have her lunch break and had Yoshinoya! (P.S: i want breadtalk! mwuahaha!) then we realised we were 40 mins late for our movie, so we quickly rushed only to have our movie changed to Death Race instead. it wasn't bad, it had good story plot. just that it was gory!

FatboyJacksen's back!!

Jacksen was back from San Fransisco for a few fays here in S'pore! so we had to meet up, since i didnt get to catch him when he was around before leaving for Jakarta. and now, despite our busy schedules, we get to meet up again especially kaiying! Guowei and Jacob came along as well!

nothing at all

the internet, online articles & books, korean dramas and telenovelas had taken hold of my life. not that i have a life now, ha. it's just practically, work, tv and internet for me during this holiday. but i'm not complaining, i get to earn monehh and get to eat lesser? haha! i think i lost an inch. an inch is a good motivation to lose some more okay! hahaha!

was a disaster in church today. my shoe's straps had spoil on me just when i was on my way to church! and erica drew me ring today, haha!

off to work again tomorrow. i fear i might be on the chopping board. i've only got 1 freaking sale on saturday! pathetic =/ and the sad and scary thing is that Selvi, Pinky and Hema got chopped off as in terminated for being late for just a few minutes. we're guessing it's because of the low productivity? i don't want to be on the 'chopping board' so my customers better say yes to me tomorrow!!!!

i am freaked out.

as usual, i was using my laptop on my bed in the wee hours in the morning. i think it was 2am when the door of my room which was shut suddenly swung open like someone had opened it up. i expected to see my dad standing there to reprimand me for staying up so late but there was silence. i took my laptop to shine which was the only source of light in the room and shone it at the door. there was no one there and my parent's room was shut.

there was no one there.

OMG.

okay, this is weird.

there were also times when my radio would just switch on by itself and starts playing. and there was once when my aunt was at home sleeping in the afternoon and she heard noises in the kitchen. she thought i was at home. but i haven't come home yet.

okay, i can't wait to move house.

this is crazy. i got addicted to Sophie Kinsela's The Undomestic Goddess ever since i picked up the book at some book sale last sunday. and i've just finished the book leaving me in some kind of fantasy like as if i was the character in the book.



and i've got the appeal letter to write tomorrow, and some jogging to do. and of course, my job which leaves my mouth dry after talking non-stop the whole day.

i havent picked up a book a read one in ages, so don't be surprised why i am so taken by the book which has me addicted. but it's a great book alright. i'm planning to read her entire other books!

Erica was back in church today!!!

and boy, i feel bad. i fell asleep in church today =x i was feeling pretty tired and sleepy. which was kinda weird, cause i slept early yesterday night okay! and anyway my work isn't that tiring comparing to working at a restaurant. BUT it is stressful can!

and i realised that..

i can't talk!

well, basically of course i can open my mouth and speak lah. i don't have the power of words to convince customers!!! boohoos! why can't starhub give away attractive stuff that singtel is giving?! otherwise i'd be doing well in sales and i won't be stressed up in being on the chopping board. and i'm getting myself ready to be "chopped off" anytime. i only make an average of 3-4 sales a day! i still much prefer to work in f&b. tiring, but at the end of the day you had fun and maybe enjoyed meeting customers!

and oh, joy's sister really looks like her from the back view! like a replica of joy! they looked the same from the back view, walked the same way and smiled the same way! hahaha! quenn and i met her yesterday to give Joy back her lip gloss! and joy didn't meet us, but sent her sister instead!! i tell shaowei! muahaha!

and i'm looking forward to next year.
it'll be a new house, new look, and maybe but certainly new school.

after days of searching job agencies online, and looking through newspaper ads..

i finally got a job again!

it's at a call centre, so i'm sort of doing telemarketing. thank God i'm not doing sales over the phone. trying to convince customers for something seems fruitless, i only managed to convince two today! i'm targetting to convince at least 5 customers tomorrow! 2 is pathetic :[ but okay lah, since it was my first day!

and on my first day of work, i had talked to nice people, irritated people, those high positions/ ranking in the company people (can tell leh!) and of course, talked to people of another race. but the challenging thing is that, some people don't know how to speak english. being a pilipino, we have the advantage of being able to learn other languages and be able to pick it up quite easily )yes, no?) and today, i tried to speak, chinese, in my very best! i soort of learnt chinese by picking up words in drama series on tv, but don't really speak it out. and when the customers talked to me, i could understand that they were saying they dont quite understand me! oh, someone please teach me chinese!

and i had one rather cute conversation before i knocked off for the day. i was calling this korean household, and the mother don't know english so the young son picks up and translates what i say to his mom. towatds the end of the conversation, i was asking him what typ of Fin type his mum is, if it i under Q1, Q2, P1, P2..

me: okay, so can you ask your mummy if she is under Q1, Q2, P1,P2 ( Fin type) ?
young boy: oh, i'm p3, my brother is p4. but my mummy is not p1, p2

.hahaha! although it's a little dumb, but he made me wanna laugh out loud when he said that! hr sounds like a cute innocent korean boys i see on tvs! listening to him talk to his mum in korean makes me wanna watch princess hours again, haha!

but then, although admin work and call centre jobs pays more than in f&b, i'd still prefer to work in f&b places. it's definetely better to walk around and take orders rather than sit down in a room with yout legs stiff from sitting down.
