gosh, i'm officially 19 years old as of today. like so old can. can you believe i have ONE FREAKING YEAR of being a YOUNG TEENAGER?! i still can't accept the fact. i haven't even watched my first M18 movie yet! (i'm waiting for kaiying to turn 18 then we'll go drunk at a cinema watching an M18 movie)

i still think i'm a sixteen year old you see. young and sweet. HAHAHA! just joking!

i think today is one of the best birthdays i've ever had! i really had so much fun and enjoyed myself. and yes, i got surprised by the surprises :D and it wouldn't be great without you people!

and now that i'm a year older, i also gotta to thank the Lord for giving me a year ahead full of opportunities and blessings. the family i have, and the friends i have :D

a year older now, i gotta be more mature and be able to make good decisions in life. though it seems like i'm going downhill. from bad to worse :/ i tend to look back or look others and think about negative thoughts which i know are not useful in any way. being nineteen with a year ahead seems exciting. but with responsibilities ahead that face me too.

so it was my day!

i was late to school!
like again. i thought i was the only one late. apparantly, many others were late for the first lecture of the day. to which after it ended, i accompanied tania to buy some bubble tea and we went for tutorial. we were discussing the answers halfway then mr.moorthi asked what was the commotion all about and why was everyone so restless. Nick put up his hand, and announced that today was my birthday and Sheng Wei's belated birthday!

cause they sang for us a birthday song during tutorial and it was so unexpected! both if us stood in front of the class and they gave us the cardboard cards with all their wishes written on it. so sweet of them! and they also gave us a gift each, mine was a cute necklace and a bracelet for Sheng Wei.

lessons were per normal after that, and after the last lesson of the day, we went down to south canteen. everyone makan-ed while sarah and i went to take a look at the tangs sale that is being held in school. nothing much nice except the ripples slippers which was not on discounted price and the native tote bags. was really tempted to buy a bag lah! bought two packs of chocolates for everyone but i wasted my money cause they were melted!

when we arrived back in the canteen, someone mentioned we came back on time. back on time because hafiz and jordan just arrived with the cake!

HAHA! cats and dogs! and i didn't break the tradition :D every year, it's a must, a tradition for us to be queuing up for ben & jerry's cone! and it so happens that it falls on my birthday this year, and it also happens that it was the craziest ben&jerry's day ever!

after we each had gotten a cone, we were not satisfied with it. we wanted more, since we had queued up for like 3 cones last time! although we saw the ben&jerry's people with the last person in the queue already, we went on to plead with them saying to let us in because it's my birthday. IT WORKED. so in we went, they were so nice. so they took a picture of us, being last in line. omg, omg, i wonder where it will appear!

i've signed up for a quite a lot of CCAs during the club crawl last last week. went to check out the booths with davin,hafiz, pliscilla, sarah, joel and jordan. we all decided to join dragon boat together, and i thought, why not. in the end, i changed my mind about dragon boat. there was the floorball too, which i'm interested in joining. but perhaps, i'll join that next year.

i'm joining the ambassador team instead. they called me up for the interview for tomorrow, and i don't know what to wear since the dress code is smart or something which i forgot. and we all had agreed to wear our school's shirt. how to match my supposedly choice of 'smart wear' to a shirt? sheesh.

and oh!

i've accomplished my task to blog about my two weeks (:

first week of school was great. although we didn't talk much to one another at first, we all eventually hit it off after a few days. and now we're all good! i'm starting to like my class people :D

and yeah, about me and my whinings on changing from this to that, i think i can forget about those thoughts already. i should be happy with where i am and what i have. i realised i always look at other people, envy them and then wallow in self pity as to why i don't have like this and that as much as that person.

so anyway, i remember giving a promise that i'll hold another birthday party/bbq this year. but alas, due to time constraints and money ( i had said i was broke :/ ) there won't be one this year! i know last year's bbq was real fun, i wanna have like that again. probably when i turn 21,it will be a better one!

i was planning to have a party. either that or a dinner somewhere. maybe at earle swensens or at fish&co. but i think i asked too last minute cause i can't make up my mind on what to do, then many people can't make it. and so i thought why not say yes to ate avie's idea of having dinner together instead? then before that go queue up for a ben&jerry's cone with kaiying and sherlin! OH YEAH, IT IS FREE BEN&JERRY'S DAY ON MY DAY!! go get some! hahaha!

but this morning in school, my class people asked me if i'm excited for tue. they had actually planned something and we'll be going to marina square! i can't say no and that i'm not free because they had booked me beforehand and i think it slipped out of my mind? and they're really nice how can i turn them down!

and early this morning, asyraf called me to confirm if i can't make it this sat. and sherman too! and jun and mel! sorry, real sorry!

so i'm in a dilemma now.

so last monday night, after the last tutorial of the day, headed down to amk hub to top-up my brother's ez link card but forgot that they close at 6pm! went there for nothing, but i shall go there again one day. it's been ages since i stepped foot in there. shall explore the place!

went over to plaza singapura, saw axel working while buying prawny's chicken curry cheese! wanted to say hi but was in a hurry. met kaiying and we were feeling high as usual, laughing again in the mall! we had this crazy idea of buying subway for dinner and we're gonna munch on it the lt while watching the concert!

prawny and olivia came and we quickly took a cab there. WAH. speaking of the cab we took, i felt cheated okay. when we tried to pay with my nets, transaction was unsuccesful. i was there behind him watching him as he swiped my card two times, both unsuccessful, although i did key in my PIN number. both transactions really unsuccessful and we were late and in a hurry to catch gabriel singing, we paid by cash. olivia paid first. then the next day when i checked my account balance, money was deducted from my account! wah, we made a double payment! cheater ah, that driver! maybe he really didn't know and it was unintentional, but i hope he'll cooperate with the taxi company and reimburse me my money! i'm on broke person :/

NYJC

so anyway, back to the NYJC chior concert, we rushed to the lecture theatre to catch gabriel in action. it was my second time there. oh yeah, i didn't blog about my first time there too. i went there to watch Nanyang's got talent one or two weeks ago. there was this guy who's in chior and he's really talented. he could do that voice thingy. aiyah, i don't know how to describe lah. but they were good performers there. and people like geraldine and revilia were shocked to see me there! there reaction when they saw me there was ''eh, how come you are here?'' and another one was '' eh, how come you can come in here?'' haha! funny.

so we were attending their school's chior concert. and we came especially to support gabriel and see him singing in action! and it was expensive to see him sing. being late, we only got to enjoy three songs from them :/ but it was real funny when we came in. we were noisy of course and were cheering for gabriel in our loud voices! and throughout the three songs we listened to, my meatball marinara subway roll into my bag. eww! haha!

Queenstown's 52nd Speech & prize giving day and Aesthetic Night


my lessons were supposed to end at 6pm last friday but mr.lee let us off early since we were not going to the lab. could only meet kaiying at 6++ so hang out with the classmates. studied together. yeah, they are so hardworking i tell you!

so met kaiying at tiong bahru mrt platform, we wanted to get out and buy some snacks like old change kee and visit the washroom. but we were really late. by the time we arrived there, the GOH arrived no sooner than we came!

i was joking to erin that we may arrive late and steal the limelight. omg, we really did so okay! in fact, we made a big entrance. hahaha! being the noisy us, we attracted a lot of attention cause we said hi crazily to whoever he saw!!! there were not enough seats at the ex-students section but we managed to find behind the girls.
