i have always lacked the the subject to update on these days. i can't be bothered anymore on what i do. and i dont know why, but i've not been myself anymore. gahh, need to relieve exam stress!
i told myself i musnt wake up late for school anymore, esp after that day when i woke up exactly 7.04am and had my piggy bank crashing down my head. good thing i arrived in school right on time, 7.19am.
the EOYs are just around the corner! next friday is already our english paper. i must better this time round! and so, i've been spending these whole week studying in school with my usual people, beth and prawn after school hours. i like it better to study in school now, it's quieter. haha! and oh, i had my mt oral last wed and i screwed it up. well, not the reading of course but the conversation! teacher was nice enough and she simplified the questions for me. i understood what she said but i didn't know how to answer!
examiner: name me any public facilities around your area?
me: *thinks* uhm.. lift. uhmm..
then i paused to think for what seemed like a few mins and turned to look at her.
me: uhm.. yeah lif!
and also my the rest of my answers were broken malay! hah! looks like i really have to consider taking basic malay next year!
i'm grateful to have you both. i love you beth and anastasia!

the holidays are coming to an end, but i haven't done all of my homework yet! the only homework i have left is the malay project which i have no clue how to do it.
and the holidays didnt feel like it's the holidays. still have to go back to school for band practices and lessons. bedtime is also now at 4am. just yesterday kaiying and i were planning to sleep at 8am. i only managed to stay awake till 4.50am while she was awake until 6.45am!
last wed's band practice was fun, well not really that fun anymore as it used to be. we had sectionals, soon after kaiying & sherlin joined us for a while during our breaktime. and we played with mdm wu! all of us smsed her a happy belated teacher's day because she complained no one greeted her one teacher's day. and she recieved like about 7 sms-es at the same time! while we were having our drills, they went to buy a cake for mdm wu. and when they came back, they were just in time cause mdm wu and mr.wee haven't left yet. we asked them to cut the cake and blew the candle. she couldn't wait to eat the cake and grabbed the chocolate toppings! then after that we smashed the cakes onto each other! our faces were full of cake. the funny part was wen we fall in with ouf hands and faces full of cake! went to tiong, got our sweet talk & old chang kee and took neoprints. and oh! kaiying got a prank call and we didnt expect it would deyney and arthur! but they were really great, we didnt recognise their voices!

hah! changed my skin yet, again.
i like this one, it's silimlar to the 'the other eden' by drogue.
yesterday, when i came online i was wondering why many people in my contacts had the turtle. it was only then i found out that Steve Irwin had died. the news was a shock, a stupid stingray killed him?! anyway, the world has lost a great wildlife icon. he was a great guy, with so much enthusiasm for wildlife. it's sad to hear that he's gone.
the weather this morning was so good. i didnt wanna get out of the bed at first! met beth & prawn at the bus stop and we hurried to school thinking we were late, but actually mr.halil was the one late. after maths lesson, we didnt feel like going for the social studies. so we told mdm yeo and good thing she said we could have it another day!
so off we went to harbourfront. the plan was to eat at sakae sushi but then the buffet starts only at 3pm. but then it was so so early. we just went to eat at new york pizza. their pizza's were nice, one slice of it comes in a big box. and i got to say their cheese fries were fabulous! not like kfc's kind, it's those type of yummy cheese with mayonaise. we walked around for a while and went home after beth & audrey got their sundaes.
i headed off for tuition. and i practically fell asleep while she was teaching. teehees, hope she didnt notice me. after tuition, met kaiying & sherlin at macs who were studying. we ended up laughing and crapping. we laughed at macs so loud can!

yay!
finally, a break from band! no band practices this week at all. anyways, teacher's day cum aces day was great. i think one of the best teacher's day i had in queenstown. except for the fact that mr.you know who spoilt the fun when he walked out of the stage when he was supposed to be giving a speech. i was kinda shocked.
i was hoping this morning wouldnt rain but it did, and it sucked lah. we can't have our dance in the parade square but in our classroom. there were a bit of arguements here and there. som one said that there was a rule that only 20 people could dance cause there wasn't enough space in the classroom. i can see that many were not happy, after practising for many weeks, they couldnt show others their dance.
we were practising then when i turned back, i saw so many poeple oputside the classroom the watch our dance. i can say it's okay lah, most of them did the dance well. and we also won the 3rd place for the sec 3 level! great job 3D! after our dance, we went to the hall to watch the sec 4 & 5 dance. their dances were really nice can! and many of their class tee's were nice. went back to class, did last cards last minute and hurried back to the hall. sat with the prefects after doing crowd control duties then sat vack and relax to watch the concert. the champion classes from each level were great. 1D, 2B, 3E and 5A won. and the overall champion class was 5A. they deserved it.
after the concert, we sprayed more of the hair spray onto our hair. we look older with the hair spray and greener! erin then helped give my card to ms chee and i gave cards to the teachers. beth and ana came along with erin, audrey and i to my primary school. they called it chicken rice! the school building changed so much! it's been two years since i visited it. last year, i didnt get to come during teacher's day, was hospitalised. the school's atmosphere has also changed, it doesnt give that welcome and homely feeling anymore. and my favourite stall is now gone! but the nuggets the sell there is as good as ever.
most importantly, i met sarah! i couldnt see her at first until iskandar told me she was looking for me too. we actually screamed when we saw each other and everyone in the canteen turned to look at us! oh man, i missed her so much. we also met our teachers, most of the teachers still looked the same. like mrs kumar and cikgu mas, and ms tan too! and oh, when they were having a concert, the teacher welcomed us to sit in the centre. there were so many of us ex-students that the hall was so packed. the concert was great, but i had to leave soon, i was really running late for our clarinetists outing. so had to say goodbye and hugged sarah and forgot to thank ana and beth for visiting my school!
i was running really late for lunch with the clarinetists. they were already at sakura eating a lot of food and the place closes at 2.30! i took like 3 buses and yet i was lost! i found myself in NUS, had to walk around and ask for directions which made me more confused. sso i decided to just take a cab, and i wasted my money lah! it was like a few mins walk away only!
when i arrived at sakura, i only had 30mins left to eat at the buffet restaurant! so i grabed as much as i can, to make my money's worth. but im a sucker at buffets. i cannot eat a lot at buffets, yeah surprising right? then they told me to eat faster, and i like gobbled up my food and told them " it's like the first time i ate so fast!'' when my mouth was full. it was funny lah, should have heard it. almost everyone left the place already. to make my money's worth again, i took some cakes and pizzas and wrapped them in tissues and hid it in my bag. heehee! they didnt noticed it! i was so so bloated when we left the place! my diet plan, RUINED! haha! we took photos with thesakura man outside. photos will be up soon, promise!
we walked in the rain all the way to bus stop laughing about our time in the restaturant. and we ate the cream filled strawberry which pearlyn brought. really heavenly, wonder how they made those. we watched monster in the house at tiong bahru. arthur, hoileng, zheng yi and zhang wang didnt join us in the end. but arthur's really nice!
and the movie, monster's house. it's pretty lame, especially the story plot. but i dont regret watching it, ut was really fun laughing our heads off at some of the scenes. and oh, when we opened the doors of the cinema, we literally laughed very loud. many heads turned and said sshhh. but when the movie ended, many people in front of us turned around to laugh at us. must be because of ours funny laughter which was echoing in the cinema!
