if only blogger was like a piece of paper, i would tear it into pieces!! i just typed a long post and *POOF* it was gone. stupid blogger.

what a way to end the rocking year, i'm down with the flu!!
and everyone else at home too. sniff sniff, i've to sleep with the tissue box by my side now and taste the bitter medicine.

my new year's day wasn't that eventful, but on sunday morning, my dad woke me up cheerfully with a smile on his face. which surprises me a lot because i told myself to be a really good girl cause he was i foul mood when a driver of his taxi knocked into a 23 year old man landing him into the hospital. but on that morning, he was in a good mood. parents can be weird sometimes aye? there was a time when i promised to be home by 7 but i was still on the mrt at 8pm, he called to scold me and said he would ground me. so i ran all the way home only to realise he was in a very good mood, he didn't scold me or mention anything about being grounded. hmmm..

so like any other sunday, we prepared to go to church. my aunt forgot to bring her phone, so we were really late when we arrived in church and the place was packed. after lunch, we waited for my dad, for what seemed like ages he finally came with kuya sheik and family. he wanted to have lunch in sakura, all the way in clementi. i tried to dissuade him, by the tme we arrive there the buffet will be over already furthermore kaiying and i had experience there already. but since we were there already, i just ate a little, had no appetite. maybe i can lose weight thanks to the flu. haha!

after buying our food ingredients, we had a little celebration at home. my nose was running and my head was throbbing, so i cooped myself up in my room and and slept till i hear them screaming and shouting to the countdown. sentosa had some fireworks and we had a good view of it from our living room's window. they ate dad's speciality, his chili crabs. andmy, it's really chilli hot! his chili crab on my aunt;s farewell party was much better, everyone craved for more. but now, it was too hot to be eaten.

so this was my uneventful new year's eve. what a way to end the rocking 2006! but i hope 2007 will be a better year, a challenging year but not a tough one. in 2007, i'll be eighteen, (gosh so old!), i'm an o level student, it's SYF year!

so like any other sunday, we prepared to go to church. but then my aunt forgot to bring her phone so we went back home again to get it. i thought we were really late, when we arrive, the place was jampacked with people. after church, my dad made us all wait for what seemed like ages, he invited kuya sheik and family to have lunch with us all the way tot the sakura in clementi. i tried do persuade him to go to other restaurants, by the time we arrive there by taxi it would close at 2.30 and furthermore kaiying and i had bad experience there already. sine we were there already, i just ate a little. haha!

then on the evening, after buying ingredients for our food, we had a little party at home. but my nose was running and my head felts like rolling down, i cooped myself up in the room and lie on bed till they were screaming and shouting to the countdown outside. then everyone ate my dad's specialty, chili crabs. man, it was really hot and chili! the previous chili crab he cooked for my aunt's farewell party was tastier, everyone craved for more. but now, it was too hot to be eaten.

so there, my new year's day was not that eventful. i actually saved a draft about my year 2006 but it's unfinished.
