What a wonderful year 2013 has been to us! Bailey started kindergarten, Hayden started pre-k, Tatum fully potty trained, we welcomed baby Carson into the family, Brennon officially a CPA and promoted to Senior Tax associate, and I am just soaking all of this up. I never want to forget the moments I have with my family.

Tatum mess
I could never forget about my Tatum. She is now two and is definitely living up to the terrible twos:) She is my little buddy and follows me around the house all day long. She loves to sing jingle bells, tattle tell on Bailey and Hayden, scream at anyone who touches her except mom, and eat banana muffin bread. We are lucky to have her in our home!
My Hayden
Hayden just had her 4th birthday this week! She is getting so old! For her birthday Brennon took the family to McDonald's for lunch, took Hayden to Red Robin for her birthday Sunday, played at Bounce U, and grandma took her to get her earrings pierced. She had a wonderful time!
Hayden is my funny little girl. She woke up in the middle of the night crying because she lost her glasses at aunt rebecca's house and she wanted me to drive over there and pick them up. I hadn't seen this glasses in months and I totally forgot about them. but sure enough we went over to Rebecca's house and they were there. What a funny girl:)
Hayden loves her brother Carson. Her job during the day is to talk to him when he is sad. She sings him sweet songs and tells him how much she loves him. She is a great big sister.
Hayden has also enjoyed the last 5 months in preschool with her teacher. She loves her teacher so much and talks about her all the time. Hayden enjoys making new friends and learning.
Carson update
Carson is getting bigger each day! He is 3 months now and fits into 6-9 month clothes. He gained 6 lbs when we took him to his 2 month appointment. He is growing so fast! Brennon blessed him in December and what a beautiful blessing. What stood out to me is when he mentioned that Carson would always take care of his mom. So tender and sweet. Love this little boy.
Christmas 2013
We had a wonderful Christmas! Some of the highlights having a surprise visit from Santa, visiting grandma and grandpa up north, Hayden was Mary in the primary, Looking at Christmas lights, Bailey getting her dream car:), reading Christmas stories together, making yummy goodies, making ginger bread houses, delivering treats to the neighbors, enjoying Christmas eve dinner with Aunt Carli & Uncle Justin, watching all the Christmas movies we can get our hands on, and just being together.
Bailey star
Bailey was selected by her teacher to get the being respectful award
for helping a boy in another class clean up his lunch when it fell on
the ground. Bailey said when his lunch fell other kids started laughing
at him and she felt bad so she went over and helped him clean it up.
Later she told me the real reason she helped him is because she thought
he was cute:) The principle had lunch with Bailey and she got a few
prizes for being such a super girl. I couldn't ask for a better
daughter.
Bailey was also star of the week. The highlights of the week were making a poster, having Berny the bear for the night, and of course mom visiting her at school.
Bailey is really enjoying kindergarten and loves her teacher. She talks about her teacher none stop. Bailey is learning so fast and is starting to blend words together and read books! She loves her friends at school and especially one special someone that she has told me numerous times that she really likes:) Above all, Bailey is a wonderful sister and friend.
Halloween
We just love Halloween! The girls were excited to pick out their own costumes this year. Bailey wanted to be a mermaid, Hayden a witch, and Tatum a little butterfly. Carson went as a sock monkey:) Bailey was excited because her school does a costume parade and all the kindergartens walk around the school in their costumes. We enjoyed watching her and going trick-or-treating together. We love our street because every year we do a little get together with all the neighbors:) I love this time of year
