We made a trip up north a few weekends ago to attend Brennon's Gramdma Adams Reed's Funeral. What a special and sweet trip it was. Grandma Adams Reed was an amazing women. She loved our family and especially our three girls. She loved giving the girls lots of yummy treats when we came to visit. Also, every year for their birthday she would send them a birthday card with a balloon, and she gave the 2 older girls a quilt to always remember her. We are so fortunate to have known such a wonderful woman. I look forward to the day when I will see you again.
This has never happened, but thanks to Aunt Cheree we got the whole Adams Clan together:Mom and dad, all 8 children, spouses, and all 23 grandchildren.
My birthday happened to fall on this crazy weekend. Not ideal, but Brennon surprised me with a huge dairy queen cake to share with the family. Brennon told me he just really wanted to make my day special.

We stopped by to visit my family on our way back home to the valley. I had to say hi to my dad because I was born on his birthday. I am so his favorite child because we share the same birthday:)
Going to add 26 things you probably know but don't really care about me:)
1. The first year we were married Brennon bought me all of the sweetest gifts I could have ever wanted and then at the end of the day I asked him, "Where is my birthday cake?" He said, "I thought you were too old for a birthday cake." Me, "No, I am never too old for a birthday cake." Every year Brennon makes sure he gets me a birthday cake.
2. I love beans. My mom made us a bowl full of beans and home made bread once a week for dinner when I was younger I still ask for that when I go home.
3. Growing up I was known as the devil sister. If you only knew my two other sisters you would understand. They really are angels. So the only alternative was to be the devil sister. Unfortunately, some things just don't change. My first job in college I worked for an after school program and there were two Amber s that worked there. My name was chosen by all staff members as evil Amber and hers was good Amber.
4. When I was younger I always just wanted to be a mom. Oh and a rock star:)
5. Don't like driving. Therefore did not get my drivers license until I was 18.
6. Never broke a bone.
7. I am a home body and have a fear for traveling.
8. My favorite date nights are the ones when we just snuggle up in a warm blanket and watch a movie, it never gets old.
9. Bailey, Hayden, and Tatum are really my best friends. I need them more than they need me.
10. I have always wanted to ride a hot air balloon.
11. My favorite color is green.
12. I love being around people.
13. Graduated from NAU with my bachelors in science in Elementary Education. One day I want to go back to school and teach.
14. Sadly, I can't spell. Spell check is my best friend.
15. Favorite movie that never gets old: While you were sleeping.
16. I am an emotional roller coaster. Well, I don't think so, but when Brennon asked my dad if he could marry me my dad gave him a confused look and said, "Are you sure? You know she is an emotional roller coaster." Brennon has referred to me as that several times over the years.
17. Favorite band of all time is-I don't know! I love all types of music, but really thinking that I will always love The Postal Service.
18. Christmas is my favorite holiday. I love how everyone is so happy and the whole world just seems so much better and at peace. Fourth of July is a close 2nd. Love the firework show in Heber and seeing my family.
19. I enjoy running and playing sports. I love feeling the crisp morning air on my face.
20. Guilty pleasure is cookies. I just can't control myself! They are just so yummy!
21. I love playing games! When our family gets together we play games. I am really trying not to be so competitive, but that is what makes it so much fun, right?
22. I love reading.
23. Favorite place to eat- Chili's, Subway, Taco Bell, and Olive Garden. I really wish I was more adventurous but if i know i like it, I just want to go back. Brennon is really working on me to try new places.
24. I have always wanted to be a blonde, and then I think about it some more and I decide I am happy with brown hair. But I just love blonde hair!
25. I love my family, and I mean all of my family! I am a lucky girl and just love all of my sister in laws. I am so blessed to have such a humongous family on both sides! I get double the friends and double the love:)
26. Boy 26 is a long way to go:) On a perfect day it would be me, brennon, and the girls and we would just be together. That's what I want to be together forever with my eternal family.
