Going Private

We have been debating awhile to keep our blog open or go private, but after we got several inappropriate advertisement/pictures posted on our blog we feel it's time that we made our blog private. I really hate doing this because it adds an extra step to readers, but I just want to protect our family and keep our blog clean. We would love all who read our blog to give us their email address so we can send you an invite! Thank you:)

Easter 2011

Saturday morning we went to the Perrin's house for an awesome Easter egg hunt. We were excited.

Hayden was more into getting one candy opened then looking for eggs.

Bailey telling me Happy Easter after the big egg hunt.

The girls eating a piece of candy they found in the eggs.

Bailey and her friend Amaya had a little Easter egg hunt after their naps. Bailey loves Amaya.

Saturday Brennon got home from his Becker review class for the CPA exam, and made Easter Eggs with the girls. They loved putting their Tinker Bell Stickers on their eggs.

Sunday morning the girls woke up early to Easter baskets. Bailey came into our room and told me Jesus gave her something for being a good girl:)

Brennon got a head scratcher in his basket and Bailey had to have a scratch.

I have never seen Hayden so content. She just wanted to eat her sucker, drink her juice, and wear her necklaces the Easter Bunny brought. She was seriously the happiest little girl.

The girls Easter morning. Happy Easter!

Easter Pageant

Friday we took Bailey to her first Easter Pageant. She was so excited! We told her she would get to see the life of Jesus, and she was so happy. She told me "Jesus love me." We left Hayden behind with Uncle Brian because she has a hard time being out past 7:00. Bailey was super excited to spend the evening with Mom and Dad.

We took her to Chick-Fil-A for a kids meal and lemonade. She was so happy.

Us waiting for the Easter Pageant to begin.

Bailey got to see a sheep in the Pageant. She didn't know what to think:)

Bailey loved the Easter Pageant. She was so sad when people were mean to Jesus. She told me "They be so mean to Jesus. I want to give him a kiss." What a sweet girl and example. What a special night to celebrate the life of our Savior.

Museum of Natural History

On Friday I took the girls to the Museum of Natural History. Bailey was so excited because I told her we would see lots and lots of dinosaurs. I didn't realize that the only dinosaurs Bailey has seen are the happy cute ones from her books and the show Dinosaur Train:

You can imagine how terrified Bailey was when she saw an actual dinosaur. She told me she was so scared and wanted to leave.

We quickly went to different areas of the museum and she had much more fun. She loved being on olden day television.

She liked looking at the Sea of Cortez exhibit.

We went to the craft room and she loved all the activities.

So did Hayden:)

She enjoyed looking at the Origins of the Earth exhibit and all the stars.

We had a wonderful day. We will definitely be going back, but next time I will be sure to check out some real dinosaur and fossil books from the library so Bailey won't be so scared when we go.

Letter of the Week

Every week I have been working on a new letter with Bailey, and she loves it. I found the best website from my friends blog http://www.lilluna.com/. Basically what you do is go to the website http://www.first-school.ws/INDEX.HTM and it has all kinds of stuff you can do to with the different letters in the alphabet. My favorite idea was to actually print out different worksheets with the alphabet. So I copied the idea and printed out two different sheets for each letter and put them into a binder with plastic sheet protectors. Bailey uses dry erase markers to trace the letters and just wipes them off when she is done. We have had so much fun together. Last week was letter A and we made a letter A book, ate apples for snacks everyday, and finger painted different letter A coloring pages. This week we did letter B and we have had a blast. We made banana muffin bread, ate bagels, bacon, broccoli, beans, burritos, blue berries, and biscuits and gravy. We made a big boy broccoli, banana man, and butterfly. I have had a so much with Bailey. We only spend about 30 minutes a day on the letter of the week and Bailey just loves it.

Baby #3

We are so happy to say that baby number 3 is another girl! I started crying at the ultra sound because I was so happy. I love my little girls and I can't wait to welcome another one into the family in September. She is healthy and doing great. Brennon is also very excited, but lets face it Brennon you are going to be way out numbered:)

youth museum

One of our favorite things to do is get culture passes from the library and go to the different museums. Last week we went to the youth museum because they started a fairytale theme, and Bailey & Hayden had so much fun.

Bailey was interested mostly in the craft areas.

Hayden wanted to explore and get into everything

Bailey got to dress up and pretend to be a princess.

Hayden wouldn't stay still long enough for me to get a clear picture of her:)

Bailey loved dressing up as a pig and acting like the big bad woof blowing the houses down.

She also got to kiss a frog.

Bailey my making sure she did all the crafts.

Hayden with her mad hatter hat to get into the very unbirthday party.

The girls during the unbirthday party. Thanks for such a special day! I had so much fun with you two.

Conference week

We went to Heber/Snowflake to visit our family and watch conference this weekend. I love conference. I always hear just what I need to be a better mother, wife, sister, and friend. It is so nice to remember what is most important in this life.

My mom was using a head scratcher on Bailey's head. She loved it so much she couldn't help but smile. We tried to scratch Hayden's head, but she was so scared and screamed every time it got close to her.

Hayden didn't want to go to anyone until Uncle Steven pulled out a kit kat bar. They became best friends really fast.
