Can you guess where we are going...

San Diego!

So Brennon and I have been debating whether or not to go on a vacation before he starts his internship, but after much thought we decided to go to San Diego for 3 days. I am so excited and can't wait. I have never been before! We are going to the San Diego temple, visiting the beaches, and going to Sea World. The best (but sad) part is that we are not taking the girls with us. It will be fun to spend time with Brennon, but it will be sad to leave my two best buddies behind. I told Brennon that next year we have to take Bailey & Hayden to Disney Land after he is done with his Masters Degree. Brennon just said we will have to see Amber. Brennon is the best! San Diego here we come!

Brennon's Graduation!

Brennon graduated yesterday and we are so proud of him! Brennon has worked really hard for were he is! And it doesn't stop here. Brennon got an internship with KPMG and starts in June! He is also starting the Masters in Taxation in the fall! We are proud of his hard work! It has really paid off. Congratulations Brennon! We love you!
(You may notice Hayden is not in any of the after graduation pictures. I totally forgot a nipple to feed Hayden her bottle, so luckily Aunt Carli and Aunt Cheree took Hayden and fed her so I could stay for the rest of the graduation! Thanks girls!)

Afterwards we went to Red Robin! It was yummy!

Becky made this delicious cake for us! It was sooo good! Thanks Becky! We had so much family support! Thank you so much! Our families rock!

happy mother's day

Happy Mother's day to all the mom's. I never knew how much my mom loves me until I became a mother. I love being a mother to Bailey and Hayden. They are my best friends. I was thinking how much my life has changed since having children...

I never watch CSI or Law & Order anymore because it has too many shows about children getting hurt.

Watching Elmo is one of my favorite things to do in the morning with Bailey.

Whenever I get any extra cash I get Bailey or Hayden a new toy or book.

It's okay if the house isn't spotless at the end of the day as long as we had fun messing it up.

I used to spend hours a day looking perfect and now I go to the store most of the time with no makeup and sweat pants.

I will spend hours a day looking for a missing toy or shoe.

I find myself always wanting some time away from the girls, but as soon as I do I am missing them.

I cry when other kids are not being nice to them. And have the best day when someone gives Bailey or Hayden a compliment.

Life has changed for me, but definitely for the best! What a great blessing it is to be a mother. There is no greater calling to be a mother. President Gordon B. Hinckley said "The greatest job that any mother will ever do will be in nurturing, teaching, lifting, encouraging, and rearing her children in righteousness and truth. None other can adequately take her place." I am grateful for my mother and for her example. She is an amazing mom and friend. I hope I am able to show my daughters the same love as she does to me.

Also, I love my mother-in-law and for raising such an amazing man. She means so much to me and I love talking to her. She is the sweetest person I have ever meet. I definitely have a lot to live up to. Thank you mothers. It is a hard calling but is the most important thing that we will ever do.

I pray for you

Today at church we talked about prayer, I loved the lesson but at one point the lady made a comment that we should pray for our enemies. As a joke, she said that she prayed many times that her daughters boyfriend would move away, and eventually he did. I couldn't help but think about this song. :)
