Hello and always welcome to my blog, I love visitors and today I have a special layout to show you of my son Riley and my beautiful mum. I have created it for the challenge over at Scapbookit. The challenge this month is a great mood board and you have to also use the word Cherish. I love the soft colors of this challenge.
Now for my take and as you can see I chose to use the colour scheme and the bike for my inspiration.
The patterned papers I chose to use are from Kaisercrafts - Pink Gelato Collection and they are just perfect in colour for the challenge. On my background I used Prima Color Bloom Spray Mist - Cotton Candy and then Kaisercrafts Circle stencil with Viva Modellier-Creme (Texture Paste) - Lilac.
Also on the background I used Kaisercrafts Clear Stamp - Fishing Net with Distress Ink - Gathered Twigs. Gathered Twigs is also the ink I used to ink the edges of my patterned papers. The wods and phrases along with flowers are from the sticker sheet in the patterned paper range.
I love this photo of Riley and mum, but to be honest there are very few photos of mum that I don't love and treasure. Around the stencil circles I used a journal pen and also used it to draw some lines around the outside of the layout. The tabs at the photo are from the sticker sheet and I inked the edges a little to blend them in with the patterned papers.
Here and there I used some Liquid Pearls - Ballerina and Lemon Chiffon just to make some tinny little flowers. My title word and challenge requirement is Dusty Attic word chippie and I coloured it with a Copic - Rose Mist and the Glossy Accents.
I hope you have enjoyed my looking at my page for the challenge over at Scrapbookit and there is still time to join in the fun even with the end of the month coming soon. Happy crafting, thanks for the nice comment you left and please call again, I enjoyed you dropping in.
Hugs xxx
