I have been waiting to post for a long time but lately it seems like all I ever do is school related and that's not really post worthy but yesterday I finally thought of something. This is completely random but I just think it is so weird.
So yesterday I got an email from my boss informing me that one of my co-workers had been hit by a car the previous night so she would not be coming into work. My co-worker was fine and walked away without even a bruise. She was just a little shaken up and sore. Now the reason I am blogging about this is because this is not the first time I have heard of BYU students being hit by cars. In fact, this is about the 5th person I have heard of being hit by a car and to top it all off, I have personally witnessed 2 people get hit by a car. Luckily none of them have been seriously injured.
This is why I am so careful crossing the street and why everytime Brandon walks to school, I make sure I tell him to watch for cars, like he is my child or something. Hearing these stories really does nothing for my nerves. I am sure by now that there have been enough students that have been hit by cars to give us some pretty solid statistically significant data. Moral of the story: If you ever come to Provo, please watch for cars.

Ugh! When I first lived in Provo (5 years ago), I remember someone in Wymount who was like 8 months pregnant got hit by a car in the crosswalk in front of the stake center. Luckily she was okay!
Graham takes the tree streets and then only crosses right by the Creamery. I think people just don't pay attention here!
it's all those crazies in provo who don't know how to drive! just kidding. but that's scary. do you tell brandon to look both ways before crossing?
Do you also tell brandon you'll see him in the morning?
do you also say:
"I'll see you in the morning," to Brandon every night? Just a little personal joke.
Glad to see you up and posting again!
Mom
It's obviously not that personal of a joke...
You are a copycatter Emma.
Just FYI, I was telling Em what I was going to say on my comment and suddenly hers appears before mine! Get your own material, material girl.
No. I posted it first so it means that you are the COPYCAT. Due to your back injury you type too slow.
Last the best of all game!
I do not usually say that, but I might start. I wouldn't worry so much if he watched for cars. He always just assumes everyone sees him. He lives a risky life.
wow the daines are so funny! But Lauren i totally agree with you about provo being a dangerous place. almost everyday a car almost hits me in the same spot.
look at you... statistically significant... use that Stats 221 girl! :)
