More DK LEGO Books in 2014

Not sure is a good or bad news, but there are more book coming from DK next year and below are the list that interest me, but still depends on my pocket. Below are the images I extracted from Brickset's Flickr gallery:

I just got my first version (2009) of  LEGO Star Wars: The Visual Dictionary this year with a 25% off from Popular bookstore which make is about RM75 and now here's a peek of version two. The exclusive minifigs is still an unknown and that is what we are looking forward to. I believe there is much to be updated in this second version looking at the numbers of set that has been released between year 2009 and 2014.

LEGO Legends of Chima: The Secret History and LEGO Friends Characters Encyclopedia seems to be new. Again, fans might want them.

I would say good news as this books are heavily visual guided and is definitely a good book to start instill reading habits into kids, especially those kids that are into LEGO. With all those nice images kids will be more interested to read the book and it helps in their english language (especially the locals). While the bad news is that they might ended up asking for the playset or the minifigs itself. For AFOL is never a good news, since you have to dig out more money from your wallet which makes you poorer. Ah, and of course the exclusive minifigs that you cannot escape from. ;)

LEGO Batman The Movie

 More movies from LEGO, and this one looks interesting. There are many other character that appear in this clips but I wonder why it is Batman The Movie. Below video is taken from IGN:

Not sure if we are going to see the characters that appear in this clips in the near future but they sure looks awesome.

LEGO Story Animation

Finally, found myself sometimes to view this interesting animation released by LEGO during their 80th anniversary. This is one interesting animation about The LEGO Group history.

I suppose many LEGO fans has already view it, but for those that are have not, just give a shot although the connection here in Malaysia are very lousy.

New LEGO Encyclopedia and Dictionary

Lately, I've cut down my time on visiting LEGO related sites and so here's some updates found from Bricsket on the upcoming LEGO encyclopedia and dictionary with minifig:

 

Not sure how much content will be in both this book, especially the Batman: The Visual Dictionary since the theme do not have much set released. Ninjago: Character Encyclopedia on the other hand i believe will have show us a lot of minifigs considering the amount of the snakes that will be release this year.

While this, Harry Potter Characters of the Magical World might be the character encyclopedia also comes with a minifig. I suppose these three books are the prioritize one unless the sticker book comes with minifigs too.

Might this be LEGO City #4207?

So here's another picture which is unclear of, whether it is the new LEGO City set #4207 or it just some MOC. Picture below taken from Brickset:

Seems real but at the same time there are MOC building at the back of it. So is kind of hard to say it now whether is an official playset or MOC.

New LEGO Exclusive #10288??

Here's another shot taken from FBTB, but is still unclear of what it is and it might be the rumored LEGO modular, Haunted House or which FBTB thinks might be the set in line with the upcoming Monster Fighters theme.

I can see two ghost floating in front of the house, and time will tell which set is this.

Brickset Minifigures Gallery

It all started this year that Brickset start to snap pictures of minifigs from different theme and uploaded them in Brickset. At first, I don't feel like blogging about Brickset Minifigures Gallery as I assume frequent visitor will know about it but as they continue to upload all the nice pictures of the minifigures, I just can't resist myself posting a news about the minifigures gallery.

So far they got more than 16 different kinds of theme uploaded and I'm looking forward for more from them as the pictures are just wonderful. Above picture are the latest one of the latest pictures that are uploaded at Brickset although pictures from Minifigures Series 3 is up a day or two before this one.

LEGO Minifigures Set

LEGO is releasing two LEGO Minifigures Set next year and is sure a good news to those minifigure collector as they only have to buy the minifigure set to get the minifigure they want. Below are the picture:

LEGO Minifigure Series 3

Although we have heard rumors and some of us have even saw the prelim image, here's a picture of series 3 minifigure taken via Brickset without any prelim mark on it:

I think there will still be a changes on these minifigs, seems they look like the one from prelim image.
