12 x 12 Layout "Angel" with Video Tutorial featuring Black Tie Affair with Denise
Hello BoBunny Fans!
It's Denise here today, to share a mixed media layout with you, using Black Tie Affair. This layout was inspired and created in remembrance of our sweet and beloved dog, Blossom. Gone too soon at 15 months old. I felt that this post would be a lovely tribute and lasting keepsake, showcasing two of my favorite photos of her.
I used the We R Flower Punch Board to get a base collection of petals, then fussy cut the flowers and leaves from the patterned paper, to add to this page. Both techniques are so pretty and just add beautiful depth, texture and detail to the layers.
Below is a close-up of the punched flowers, as well as the laser cut chipboard pieces. Next, I added some highlights with a white gel pen, some strategically placed droplets of watered down white gesso and a spritz of gold glimmer. There is a full set of detailed visual step by steps in the video presented below.
I would love it if you had a look, and hopefully you can see the creative process and be inspired by it.
Thanks for spending a few minutes with us today. Hope to have you drop in again soon!
Have a fabulous day!

Handmade Cards with a Masculine Twist. . . . with Elena
Hello BoBunny Friends,
Today, It's me Elena, on the blog and ready to share with you a bunch of masculine cards I made using Essentials collections by BoBunny.
Well, I guess that many people are struggling with their creativity when it comes to making the cards for the men in your life. What to do for Cards for Him? I feel that way too...it seems much easier to add flowers and pretty stuff than use other embellishments.
So I started thinking what I can do, and in the end I created four cards, each with their own distincly, not "feminine" look.
Initially I started mixing the patterns from the Double Dot collections. I took Chevron, Vintage and Dot packs and ... mixed them , it was fun and easy to do.
I also created the layers using the dies, mostly Selfie Dies.
However I also added Dreamcatcher Laser Cut chipboard that I painted a bit with acrylic paints and the powders.
To finish my cards I also added the brads and the jewels.
I like adding stitching to my cards, and when it comes to male cards you can do it with any thread colors.
And so. . .Ta Da!!!! Here are my finished cards, for the men and boys in your life, and even the ladies too! Who doesn't love getting a thoughtfully handmade card!!!
Thanks for stopping in today for some BoBunny inspiration!
x Elena

Altered Art Canvas featuring Charmed with Marilyn
Hello everyone! Marilyn here to share a canvas with you today. I worked with the beautiful Charmed collection. Let's take a look...
I started out giving a coat of white gesso to all the canvas. Next, I added textures and created a design with the Serenity Stickable stencil and Primer Paste. I cut out six clocks with the Tick Tock Die and white cardstock, I adhered two clocks together to create a little of dimension. I made a design with all the pieces and adhered them on the canvas with gel medium. Then, I mixed some acrylics to paint the canvas.
Then, I cut some images and the sentiment from the Charmed Perfection paper.
I cut out the key from the Unlocked Die and painted it with acrylic paints.
I adhered 3D Balls, 3D Powder, jewels with gel medium to add more textures.
Bo Bunny Supplies:
Pattern Paper- Charmed- Perfection
Die- Unlocked Die, Tick Tock Die
Stickable Stencil- Serenity

The Double Dot- Decaf Vintage is my base paper. I cut out one square from the Noteworthy paper (side B) then put three eyelets in each corner and put through a cord.
I painted some leaves from the Foliage Laser Cut Chipboard with the greenish gold metallic paint by Pentart. |
I cut out the pine cone from the Noteworthy paper. I added some Double Dots Citrus jewels and white paint splatters. |

Holiday Cards featuring Carousel Christmas and Denise
Hello BoBunny Fans,
It's Denise here today, to share some pretty and festive Christmas Cards with you, using Christmas Carousel. I created two cards.
On the first card, I used an embossing folder to create the background and then added some colour on the raised edges. I then fussy cut some gorgeous Poinsettia's and used them along with some foil transfers and laser cut chipboard.
Here's a little closer look at the dimension, as well as the inside of the card. I thought I would include the inside, as one doesn't always get to see how it looks on the inside.
I used some foil transfers on the inside of this card too.
On the second card, I also used an embossing folder to create the background and also added fussy cut elements to create the design. I added a second layer to the Poinsettia as well, for some dimension. I used Pearlescent to add detail to the centers of the Poinsettia.
Here is what the inside of this card looks like:
This collection is truly so beautiful and festive!
Have you started making Christmas Cards yet? I hope this has inspired you to get cracking and get a little festive!
Have a fabulous day!

Dreams of Autumn-Home Decor DIY Project with Ginny
Hey there BoBunny Peeps. The leaves are starting to change here in Michigan and although we are having a bit of an extended summer.....the air will soon turn crisp and cool. I've already brought out my fall decor and indulging in pumpkin spice everything.
I used the new Dreams of Autumn collection to create this Fall decor piece. I am sooooo loving that fox image. I plan to put it on everything. No really. I am.
There's some gorgeous crocheted flowers that I accented with brads in the center and layered on top of the arrangement.
The background paper is my favorite from the collection. It's added to the back of a paper mache box lid and topped off with coordinating trim.
Elements from the Ephemera Kit and fussy cut images are tucked in to fill in the display.
Craft foam is added between the layers for depth. Last but not least a bit of twine and sequins adds perfectly coordinated accent.
Okay that's all for me. Wishing everyone a happy and productive day : ) Ginny

Garden Party Layout with Katherine
Hello Everyone! I have another scrapbook page to share with you using the Garden Party collection
Bala by Katherine Sutton
Bala by Katherine Sutton
Before I start Bala is the name of a beautiful lake in Wales! This page evolved from a mistake - I cut the Whimsy (white woodgrain) to be 11" square so I decided to add another layer in-between the licorice and white, which gave me the idea for lots of layered squares which are mostly made from the 6" pad. Before I added the papers I used Honeydew Glitter paste with the Lots of Love Stickable Stencil. I also added some stamping using the Circular Texture stamps in a couple of different colour inks.
In the Ephemera pack there are some kraft butterflies and I cut these out and added some Honeydew Glitter paste to them to add a little more sparkle.
I used one of the laser cut Hearts with some Silver Metal Wax paste, then added some of the stickers and buttons from the Ephemera as well as a crochet flower from the Clover Bouquet pack.
One of my favourite parts from the new paper lines is the cut apart sheet and here you can see 2 of the elements - Memories and Beautiful.
I mixed up lots of layers of papers and tore them to reveal the layers below.
I used the Silver Rub Ons alphabet set to add a bit of glamour to my title, and having the woodgrain paper with lines on it made it really easy to get straight!
I hope you've enjoyed the page.
BoBunny Supplies:
Double Dot: Licorice
Papers: Garden Party - Whimsy and Enchanted
6" Pad: Garden Party
Ephemera: Garden Party
Stencil: Lots of Love
Glitter Paste: Honeydew
Stamps: Circular Texture
Laser Cut Chipboard: Hearts
Doilies: Small
Blossoms: Clover Bouquet
Rub Ons: Silver Alphabet

Versailles Layout-Features Garden Party and Katherine
Hi BoBunny Fans!
I have a mixed media page complete with a video for you today using the gorgeous greens and purples from the Garden Party collection.
Katherine Sutton: Versailles
I used Fragrant as the base and add strips of Garden Party, Enchanted and Serenity on top. I complimented the colours in the papers with some stamping using the Dreamer stamp set and also the Delicate Metallic paints in greenish silver and purplish silver. I talk you through the full layout in the video at the end of the post.
The Dreamer stamps add another layer to the page and more colour; I watered down some of the delicate metallic paints in greenish silver and purplish silver to add more flicks of colour to the page too.
I dyed my gauze with the delicate metallic paints and added the Tick Tock die to the top corner.
Here you can see a banner made from the chipboard in the Ephemera Pack and also one of the Laser Cut Heart chipboard pieces which I have covered with Silver Metal Wax and also some Lavender Glitter paste.
The crown is from the Royal die set, and you can see some of the 3D Balls which I coloured with the metallic paints.
I die-cut the title using the To and From die set, and then layered up more gauze and doilies behind it.
For a complete walk through of this page, please watch the video, I hope you enjoy it.
