Life in Color and Pentart Wax Paste with Marilyn

Hello everyone! It's Marilyn here with you today. Today is Sunday and that means it's time for a party project! Let's see what I created...

I made party favor bags and cards with the new Life in Color collection. I wanted to make Happy Birthday unisex cards and bags that they don't look too feminine or masculine.

I used the Tag Dies and the Sentiments stamp to make the tags for the bag and the card.

I applied the Chameleon wax paste with my finger over the tags, it gave a translucent shine to the tags, so pretty!

I'm going to explain you how I made the party favor bags, I used one 12" x 12" paper and cut it in half to create two bags.

For each bag you need a piece of 6" x 11 1/2".

Score the paper as you can see in the picture.

Then turn the paper and make scores at 1 1/2", 4 1/4" and 5 1/4" as you can see in the photo.

Make these cuts on the paper.

Fold all the scores  and add glue or tape over the last corner of the box as you can see in the photo .

Fold and glue the bottom of the box.

I used some glue dots to close the top of the bag.

The final result, it's easy and fun to make!

You're Invited Party Bottles!

You're Invited Party by Solange Marques

Hello Everyone!

For this Sunday fun day, I made some altered bottles for a girl's party!

These bottles are useful to serve juice and to decorate the table.

I used Glitter Paste on the bottles:

Here is a simple tutorial:

1. Cover the bottles using a transparent glass paint. I used Crystal Gloss in Pink.

2. Adhere BoBunny stencil on the bottle:

3. I used the new palette knife assortment pack to apply the paste.

4. Apply glitter paste on the stencil:

5. Use some circle tags from You're Invited Party in a Box and you must make a hole in the tag and pass a string

.
6. Make a ribbon bow on the bottle.

 7. Fasten a tag on the ribbon and finish with a jewel:

8. Add the straws from You're Invite Party in a Box:

And have a great party!

Mixed Media & Marvelous Jewels!

Hello, fans of BoBunny! It's me, Maria Potapovich (mellpellmell), here for you today.

And today I'm going to show you how I made a green-eyed beautiful woman!

Of course, so you can make any portrait, but then first you have to draw the outline of the face, and then be a little more neat than I was.

So, first we need a sheet of white paper (or colored, but monotonous!), PVA glue, thread (of any color, but the contrast with the color of the paper).

Soaking thread in the glue, we can easily lay it out on paper, repeating the line of our sketch (I did not do a sketch - I did not need accuracy, because it is not a portrait, but just an ordinary woman's face image)

Looking a little closer, you'll see how the threads formed, and it is also seen that sometimes glue dripped onto the paper - it's not scary! Then you can remove the drops, and small droplets after drying hardly be seen!

In fact, at this point you can stop if you're a fan of minimalism...
But if you like a bit more brightness and color, then proceed to decorate with me!

At first we should add the lady's eyes and earrings.

I think these earrings are well suited to the color of her eyes. Is not it?

Now I will add a little blush, lipstick and a flower in her hair.

String of beads - it is always elegant! Let's add it!

For lovers of mild extravagance I can offer to add color her hair with a suitable spray!

Now you only have to insert the portrait into the frame and gave it to the prototype!

P. S. A little secret: making someone's portrait, you can not draw a sketch, but print it using the printer with thin lines!
