Down by the Sea, Mixed Media-One Layout Three Ways with Marilyn

Hello everyone! We all have different styles, some like simple things, others with more details or someone like me with lot of layers, paints and details.. I'm going to share with you today-one layout  in three ways with the new Down by the Sea collection and the new Spring stuff, let's take a look...

This is my final project with many layers, stamping, mixed media product but before that I explain all the creative process let's go to see how I started in the next picture, working backwards with me.

 #1 Way

I selected the Down by the Sea Seahorse as my base paper. Then I made a design with the chipboard and Noteworthy pieces, next I adhered the photo. It looks simple and clean.

 #2 Way

Then I added color around all the design with Pentart Delicate Metallic and blue creamy acrylic paints. After drying, I gave textures with the Backsplash Stencils and the new Pentart Stencil Paste in Ice Flower color. Finally, I added white and blue paint splatters.

To take it to the next level (#3) I stamped randomly with the Doodles stamp and added yellow paint splatter for extra textures.

I added some Blue Hues Jewels and a well placed touches of  3D Balls that I adhered with Pentart Express Glue.

I love the chipboard pieces, they look adorable and fun  and add just the right feel to this seaside layout scheme.

You can see here all the textures...
And here are the three ways...which one is your personal favorite?

Serendipity-Craft Dies and Thick Stencils with Solange

Hello BoBunny fans!! It's Solange Marques here!

Today I'll share with you a layout on three ways using Serendipity collection. I love this collection!

I've used an old photo from my grandchildren, they grow so fast...

On the first step I placed the photo on the page and I prolonged it with acrylic paints blending it on the background. I cut out some birds and nests from Serendipity papers and glued on the page.

On the second step I added stamps, dies and a contrast paper on the base.

But I've needed something more...

Then I shadowed the birds and nests with black gesso. I applied Pentart stencil paste on the new clock stencil and I applied Pentart metallic paint on the title and I moved it of the place. I added some laces.
and for a last step, I added some butterflies.

Faith, Fine Art and Mixed Media with Elena O.

Hello Friends, it's Elena with you today.

I am sharing two mixed media cards I made for my post.

I love mixing mixed media techniques with fussy cutting on my projects. If it comes to cards - it's the most pleasant creative process I like to enjoy each time.

I created two cards. I covered the half of my background with the paper from 6x6 Faith Pad and for the rest of the background - I did some misting, stenciling and coloring.

First I used acrylic primer for my base, it's white and dries so fast. After that using the stickable stencils I applied the structure paste on my background, but actually I chose the intricate design and I needed something more smooth. So I tried the gel paste, which was a great choice for this technique.

Its' transparent, dries fast too and has a super cool 3D effect. Then I misted the stenciled areas with the BoBunny sprays in Mint and Blue.

Later I continued my composition using the Noteworthy pieces, the die cuts and the fussy cut flowers.

Then I added more color using the acrylic paints.

I also add the coloring on the cut out elements. and to make it look more sparkling I added the gems and pearls in different colors. I also added some drops of Pearlescents.

It was really so fun to play with all the colors.

I created an oh-so-light coloring on the die cuts too,

To finish, these are the supplies I've used for my project.

Hope you have enjoyed it!!!

Winter Wishes and Pentart Magnetic Primer Paste and Paint with Marilyn

Hello everyone! It's Marilyn here to share with you a Journal page that I made with the Winter Wishes collections and Pentart products. It almost Christmas Day and the weather has been chilly so I imagine the poor Santa making his job in a snowy night and it was my inspiration...

I worked with the 6 x 6 paper pad of the Winter Wishes collection. I wanted to make a scene of Santa with the gifts on a snowy night so I selected the Winter Wishes paper to cover the back of the journal and recreate the night sky. Then I cut out some trees from the Winter Wishes paper, I glued them in the right side. I painted with Pentart Primer Paste/Gesso to create the snow hill and then to create the texture I added  sugar glitter paste with the craft spatula.

I painted a piece of cardstock using the Pentart Creamy Acrylic paints. I mixed red with a tiny amount of graphite to create this red color . Once dry, I stamped the Santa from the Holly Jolly Stamp. I also stamped the snowman, some gifts and the Ho Ho Ho from the stamp but in different papers from the Winter Wishes paper pad.

I added textures with Pentart -Primer Gesso, Sugar Glitter Paste and the Winter Delight Stickable Stencil and to enhance the snowy sky I added white acrylic paint splatters..
I applied the 3D Powder with the express glue by Pentart to the Santas' hat and the jacket and it looks so fun ! I also added a little of the Tutu Pearlecents to the pink gifts and the snowman wings.
You can see from this angle all the yummy textures on my journal page. The title Let it know is a die cut piece from the Winter Wishes Noteworthy.

I hope you find some inspiration....Happy Holidays!!!

 Until next time!
