My Gratitude Book

Hello, Crafty Friends!!

Today I want to share with you My Book of Gratitude... It's a really tiny book where I will collect thought and memorabilia about moments and people of my life I want to thank.
I decided to use the Boulevard collection to create this Journal, because it's really warm and these color give me a lot of serenity.

The Journal is really easy to create.... Two pieces of chipbboards (I spread some gold glitter paste on the edges with a brush), two 6x6 papers with arlequin pattern, one olive green 6x6 paper and a spiral wire.

For the title I used one of the tag on the 12x12 collection and pasted on it the "Thank YOu" sentiment with Gold Letters by the Thicker Boulevard.

In the first to pages I wanted to say why I created this Journal... Only to say Thanks to all the wonderful people and thing I have in my life....

The typewriter was perfect for this page!!! In the sheet of paper in the machine I could stamp two sentiments: "Just wanted to say" and "Many Thanks". So happy about this combo!!!

Now we can find three double pages: in the left part you can find the title and a place with some lines to write down the name of people or the things you are grateful for.
For example the first couple of pages are dedicated to Family... And of course I will complete it with the name of my parents, my husband and my "family in law".

In the right part you can find I pocket: I made it with the "Pocker Punch Board" by WRMK. Love it.
I used some roses by the colletion to create a stop for the flap on the top .
I will place in this pocket some pictures about my family and a sheet where I want to describe some important moment of my life with family.

The second double pages are dedicated to life. People I met at school, people I met thanks to my job... Things that happened to me and make me stronger, or help me to become the woman I am.

On the right part, another pocket for memorabilia.

Finaly, I want to say thank to Nature...

I will take this Journal on my desk... I would like to read it everyday... Especially on the sad days, when everything seems to go wrong... When we need to remember how many wonderful things we have in the life.
Hope you enjoy this project. And hope you have joy creating your own Book of Gratitude.

Fall Collage Layout with Elisa

Hi everyone!!

Elisa here from Italy!

I love Autumn. I love Autumn because Nature shows us a wonderful color palette. Because the days are warm, but in the evening I can wear a soft sweater. Because after the hot summer time and vacation, I want to create something new! Fall is the perfect time to do it!

So, let me dedicate a LO to Fall!!!

For this project I used the November and December papers and the Thickers by Banner Year Collection, the Boulevard des Romantiques and the Thickers by Boulevard Collection, Gingerbread and Coffee Double Dot. The main cardstock in the background is the Chiffon vintage Double Dot.

I fussy cut all the autumn leaves by the Banner Year November cardstock.

For the little banners and the little sentiment I used the Word Punch Board, and two cardstock Layers (December by Banner Year and Gingerbread Double Dots)

I made an irregular stitch on all the Gingerbread frames.

I also add some golden embellishment to give a bit of brightness to the LO... And Banner year Thickers were perfect for this.

For the title I chose another golden element: Thickers by Boulevard Collection.

So, Hello Fall... I'm happy you arrived!!!

The great thing about handmade flowers is that you can choose the shape, design and color to perfectly match any project.

I created a video of the process and I hope that you will see that it's really quite easy.

Thanks so much for stopping by the BoBunny blog today and we really hope to see you back for the next project.

DIY Home Decor Project

Hi, Crafty friends!!

Elisa here from Italy!
Today I want to share with you my new project: A "Home Sweet home" decor. But, what is behind it?? A large straw trivet!! So this is an altered item, of course. And Boulevard collection was the best to create a floral decor for my home!!!

This is the original Straw Trivet:

A bit of glitter gold paste on the external circles of straw and really a lor of red, white and yellow roses!!!
As color background for the inner part, this time I chose green.
And then I layered some wood effect paper as base for the sentiment.

For the sentiment I used my Silhouette with We R Memory Keepers Foil Quill!!! The effect is great!

I used also other embellishment by Boulevard collection: chipboard stickers and normal stickers too!! And I also die cut that wonderful ornament with the dark yellow cardstock.

I love the roses chipboard stickers in this collection: some have a wonderful gold foil effect on the edge. Some have a normal border. And the combo is perfect!!

The wood effect is really delicate... As the whole project !!

So this was only a Straw Trivet... A bit of creativity, a wonderful BoBunny paper collection, and now I have a great home decor!!

Washi Tape Cards with Elena

Hello BoBunny Friends, it's Elena's turn to bring you some ideas on how to use washi tape for your projects.

Well, I have started using it in my projects just recently and I like the possibilities it provides.

My favorite one is to add the details with them on the cards or tags.

For my cards I used just one paper sheet from Boulevard collection, a few tickers and washi tapes only.

The simplest way is just to add the stripe of it  and you can notice it alters the card differently.

You can make the banners, just playing with the size of them.

After you have organised the main parts of your card, just add the thin stripes around.

Gold, Silver or Glitter always look great for this purpose.

You can notice how the full look is changing.

Playing with the thin. medium and large sizes you can get the variety for changing.

I've added the jewels to make the focus on the strips.

ATC Washi Tape Techniques with Elisa

Hi there, crafty friends!!!
It's Elisa today here to tell you about something about Washi Tape!!! We are scrappers. So we love Washi... I created for you some easy inspiration project to show you different ways to use them!!
Let's start with this 3 ATCs series, made using Washi Tape by Boulevard BoBunny Collection!!!

In these ATC I used washi tape in 3 different ways:

FIRST: you can use them to decorate your project as long staight embellishment. For example you can see that I used one in vertical and other three (the glittered light blue, the champagne and the typewrite one) in orizontal, playing by layering them and using different lenghs.

SECOND: you can use the larger washi to create rosette!! You can see in the video how to make them!! Very fast, easy... and great effect!!!

THIRD: would you like to create lot of embellisments?? Take a piece of cardstock, cover it with some washi tape stripes (pay attention: don't leave empty spaces between the stripes) and then create your embellishment using a punch or diecutting the cardstock!! Easy!!

In this picture you can se the layered effect I made with the thinnest washi tapes;
you can also see a little circle, created with a 1/4" punch, cardstonk and a stripe of glittered washi;
on the left, the rosette.

Not only washi, of course... In the high right corner I used some stamps!!! I pasted the "Love this" one with a piece of foam tape. For cutting it, I used scissor and the thinnest punch of my Crop'a'dile: fast and easy!!!

Some other example of circles made using punches, washi tape and cardstock.

The rosette.

But, of course... When you say washi tape, you say journal too!!!

Let me show the journal page I create for keeping memory of my birthday party (at the theme park Gardaland, as usual!!!) . This time I chose the Celebrating Freedom Washi Tapes!!!
Let's have a look to this page:

I diecut the letters using the third technique I told you before... I put some stripes of red glittered washi on a cardstock and then diecut it!

I love washi...  And I love labels too!!!
The wood effect one by We R Memory Keepers is stunning!!

I used a long stripe of flowered washi tape to decorate the lower edge of the page.

First way to fix a picture: 45° stripes on the corners!

Second way to fix a picture: vertical (or orizontal) stripes on one side of the picture.

Fixing only one side, you create a hinge. And you can can browse the picture as a page, so you can write something behind it.

I hope you had fun reading this post about Washi Tape!!!
