Well, in order to ease Picasa users and to show that Google does work on it, Blogger Buzz reports that Picasa can now do photoposting to Blogger v3.= even if it´s riddled with pretty big issues (read: glitches, shortcomings and bugs)
1.-The biggest shortcoming i see is the 4 photos in a go limit.. c`mon, not even ten pics as a limit per post?....
The other Issues as also reported in the known issues blog and myself are the following points:
As reported from the known issues blog.
2.-Errors posting from Picasa to Blogger if there are html validation problems.
3.-If you are signed in as a Blogger user, sign out, and then sign back in with your Google account (to post to the beta), you will receive an error. The work around is to close the window and repost from Picasa (signing in with your Google account).
4.-Once you post to beta, you will not receive a confirmation window. Once the rainbow progress indicator goes away in Picasa, open up your blog in your favorite browser to confirm the post.
5.-You cannot post from Picasa to Blogger in beta if you have backlinks turned on.
6.-There is no sign out link if you are logged in as a beta user. The workaround is to exit Picasa.
Told to me:
7.-Ghost Photoposting, you send pics from picasa and they never show up.
8.-if you are logged in gmail, blogger and picasa at the sametime and a glitch occurs, your google accounts can get jammed for some hrs.
9.-if you photopost over 3 times, when going to check the blog, the blog chokes and you neeed to reload the page for it to show.
So, DON´T even bother to try to use it at this state... becuase this buzz post from google should not exist with a product in such a bad state...
Happy Photoblogging?.......Right..
Let´s alll wait for it to ACTUALLY work.
Bordee is a new start up that hopes to solve and improve standard Message Boards on the web by allowing anyone to be able to comment whenever they want it.
How so?, well, after login into it and seeing it by myself i think that it combines the idea of the free phpboards that are commonplace to see being offered in the web with the idea of being able to comment in any webpage based on a social commenting system, mix the two concepts and that is what Bordee it´s about.
The only thing you need to create one is to sign up for a bordee account and be a user of Firefox or Flock (yeah!) to generate message boards that then will get added to the Bordee Message Boards Directory, you can also look at it as if it were a huge forum where each topic serves as both category and topic becuase it´s a never ending stream of threads that are not rooted into sub directories.
You don´t need the extension to comment in a bordee message board, just sign for a bordee account, and that will do, remembering this is not only a web tool provider service but also a social community, so having a bordee account will be useful to be able to comment in every borde message board you get to encounter from now on knowning that if you ever want your own, it is only a extension install away.
With each topic you create, this will work as a messageboard, so you can have as many of them as you like if you play nice, they support everything a regular messageboard do and the better thing about it is that you get your personal feed for each message board you have, allowing you to easily stay in the know with what happens in it.
The message boards as in the social commenting systems, are created on the base of the url, so if a bordee message board already exist on a certain url, you will get directed to it.
I like the concept and i am eager to look how this evolve.
So,if you ever wanted a good looking, uncluttered and easy way to use message board for your blog that you could set in under 3 minutes this is as good as it gets for such a little effort.
And don´t forget to drop by Bloggeratto Bordee Message Board

During the past weeks Hoctro has been on quite a ride with Blogger v3.0 something that got scaled up after being blog noted, but during that bump that now has made him not only more relevant but being more exposed to everyone, he has been posting some very good posts about not only the inner working of Blogger v3.0 but also about how to work with it and here it is what he has been up to in that terms from the time he started:
1.- Understanding The New Beta Template: A Top-Down Approach (I)
Where he started with a recognition of what he was getting into by looking harder into the template and making of it a story as it´s the stily hoctro has on his blog, he comes up with a narrator presentation of each post that serves as a introduction that later breaks up to be a more formal post but that it is soomething that makes Hoctro unique in the Bloggerosphere because it´s what identifies his voice to an audience.
In the case of this posts, the story effects never truly breaks out and this style make it even more interesting to read, at least to me.
2.- Understanding The New Beta Template: A Top-Down Approach (II)
Having introduced the template he then continues by marking what defines the template inside the main section of it, the body.
3.- Notes on the process of making a new hack
After finishing with the template he goes on with a excellent look into how he is doing a hack and even explain every line of code in it. a must read if you are having your way with your own hacks.
4.- CSS and Beta Template: A Cool Way to Try Out Your Artistic Self
He responds to a question from a reader by showing how to play with CSS in the Blogger v3.0 template.
Later....
This is not over i guess,so i will add to this post when he comes with this kind of guiding posts.
Let me tell you, this are the first folksonomy link buttons footer i really like and it´s from Hans.
Well, he started with Revisiting this for Blogger v3.0 and made his own unrelated version of what Ramani had done before.
coming up with a link button footer that looks great and has a very cool text indicator for the Bookmarking service buttons that activates when you hover the link buttons:
And finally not satisfied with it, he added a push button effect that also activates when someone hover the link buttons nd that complements with the text indicator:
The look of the buttons is very pretty and the funtionality of them is smooth and sutile so it comes with my highest recommendation so anyone that want to add a footer like this, get one from hans.
And if you want to read some more on this matter, you can also pay a visit to Vivek where he taked Hans hack and just extended more services to it that you can get changing just one line of code in hans hack.
Enjoy!
The only times when i have ever offered a summary in my Feedburner feed is becuase of the times i was over the feedburner feed size limit, because i never would want to offer a summary feed, becuase for me they are worthless feeds, and i downright hate summary feeds.
I have always thought that if you want to offer a summary feed or title feed, then you add it as a option to your readers and not as the default feed.
Feed Readers and site readers along with E-mail Syndication readers are pretty much different audiences,so a summary feed is really bad, becuase you alienate your readers and because of what i call false positives, it of course will generate more click to the site, but of what quality? a bad one that is for sure, since you will get a lot more "less than 10 seconds" visitors, and that is the kind of visits you must not force.
Anyway, that is where Fullfeeds.com enters int othe play given it is a oline petition that serves more like a statement, since you really cannot ask a entity directly about it, but that statement has relevancy since you create awareness and inspire readers to openly say their disgust with summary feeds that will get more people either avoiding to put summary feeds or also offer a fullfeed so the reader can choose.
It is a great statement so, if you agree, please go and sign it leaving you opinion about it:
FullFeeds.com
Here is mine:
A rss/atom Feed must represent the free flow of unfiltered content in the same manner Blogs represent the freedom of digital publishing.
A summary is having a useless filter that will only generate forced clicks that must not be, offer a full feed choice
Update: edited.
There has been a lot of coming and going around in the Bloggerosphere with the recent update of the Ajax Search Api, that originated on the Ajax Search Api Playground Blog with Mark Lucovsky coming up with some hacking to integrate ajax search better into your blog and now the really really cool Video Bar Widget that sure not only can look cool and simple but has an actual great feature to boot.
Hoctro then grabbed the ball and got it integrated into Blogger v3.0, Before mark and that was the little push that got him into blogs of note.
And yeah, Blogger Buzz is keeping up with the scores on that.
now, what i would like to see it´s a videobar that could search and display the photos from the videos that refer only to certain user, that google could repair Blog search so the Native Search could get fixed and the photo version of the video bar funtionality that could work not only with google image search but with picasa so anyone could search someone pics in picasa from their Blogger blog.

I am one of those guys who actually get into a speedy mood phase with every birthday, this year was no differemt, the previous days to my birthday i get a little nervous, the day of my birthday i get a little depressed and the day after it recover my good mood.
It reads more dramatic than what it is. but it´s all true, so even if i hate to not be with the groove, i am aware of all the recent happenings.
Another thing that don´t let me enjoy my blogging time is my day job, and that is something anyone can relate to.

As you note this don´t carries the v3.0 prefix, so this works for both v2.0 and v3.0 my friends, interested?.
Thought so.
Well, this is the thing, the best Recent Comments we have in v2.0 are the N.T modification of the farrago comments, wich you can see in this blog and the last version from singpolyma Recent Comments.
Well, this is another option into the mix, and for v2.0 it is as good if not better that the two examples i just mentioned.
Why?, simple, the problem when converting a feed in any other method was that it is slow to update, this is also true for the Blogger v3.0 recent comments widget that can run natively in blogger, becuase the sole reason the set up for it was not adjusted with that in mind only.
Storago another clear advantage it has is that it will register every single recent comment in the blog and not only the one in your main page like in the case of the Farrago hack & the other variations like it.
And it also will allow you to have this extras with your Storago account:
1.-It Generates It´s Own Feed(atom)
2.-It Generates It´s Own Html Landing Page
3.-Your Blog Is Added To a Syndicated Page
(a la Blogs Of Note generating some extra traffic)
And the best of it is that is not only easy to use but FREE.
I would only have three requests to Jeff Day for a future upgrade:
1.-That if the Commenter Name could direct to the Blogger Profile of that commenter or it´s website when the info were available,
2.- That the display of the date & hour would be optional or could be added as title="date & hour" atribute that would show when hovered by the cursor instead of the comment description.
3.- Being able to choose how many comments it renders, a limit of at least 15 would be great.
That upgrades would make the service Perfect from all angles.
So, there you have it, if you want to give it a try, this is where you need to go:
Storago´s Recent Comments
-Via Ricardo Santos (who told me about it)
(yeah, they use a generated web 2.0 logo, the irony is not lost on me)
Well, My friend Efendi Kwok, found this very good looking Digg-like Blog Signature Generator that sure is a excellent replacement for that horrid looking Feedburner Headline animator(i am only knocking it´s very outdated late nineties looking sig not Feedburner), Aditya, sure would like this, he loves anything with a Digg style, but he is away at college so you and me can have it, and i so dearly recommend you to get one, it is a updatable generated gif so, it the easiest thing to use after you fill in the form.
The only extra thing it requires since it reloads when you update your blog is that you have a Gravatar account for your pic.
Have a look at Efendi Sig that is sporting a gravatar in it:
Here is mine without pic since i don´t have a Gravatar account yet (yeah, i know, another irony)
So, as you can all see this is a great sig, get one please so i don´t have to look at another of those feedburner sigs until they revamp them:
