I guess we know the importance of our QT, to be close to God, to help our lives and etc... I think the importance of God's word is not just for us to our QT. It's like why we study, so that we can use it for our work next time. So that we have a skill in life.

In order to do God's work we need to read God's words it's as simple as that. They go hand in hand, you can't say that you are doing God's work when it contradicts the bible. Similarly you can't do God's work if you don't know what He wants you to do. At the end of the day we all belongs to God and we need to do what God wants us to do. We are God's fellow workers how can we not do our parts?

1 Corinthians 3: 5-16,

5What, after all, is Apollos? And what is Paul? Only servants, through whom you came to believe—as the Lord has assigned to each his task. 6I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God made it grow. 7So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. 8The man who plants and the man who waters have one purpose, and each will be rewarded according to his own labor. 9For we are God's fellow workers; you are God's field, God's building.

10By the grace God has given me, I laid a foundation as an expert builder, and someone else is building on it. But each one should be careful how he builds. 11For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12If any man builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw, 13his work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each man's work. 14If what he has built survives, he will receive his reward. 15If it is burned up, he will suffer loss; he himself will be saved, but only as one escaping through the flames.

16Don't you know that you yourselves are God's temple and that God's Spirit lives in you? 17If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy him; for God's temple is sacred, and you are that temple.

18Do not deceive yourselves. If any one of you thinks he is wise by the standards of this age, he should become a "fool" so that he may become wise. 19For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in God's sight. As it is written: "He catches the wise in their craftiness"[a]; 20and again, "The Lord knows that the thoughts of the wise are futile."[b] 21So then, no more boasting about men! All things are yours, 22whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas[c] or the world or life or death or the present or the future—all are yours, 23and you are of Christ, and Christ is of God.

We all belong to God, so we need to do what God wants us to do. Have you done your QT? Are you prepared to do God's work today? Remember in the book of James it says faith without works is dead! Work without God's word is meaningless! So the meaning and importance of our works lies in our QT. So lets be eager about our QT so that we can go out there to reach out to people. We're God's field, God's building.

Well i started out this week terribly, you see what happen was i went and collected some of the band member's tailored shirt last Saturday. So i brought along the shirts on Sunday cos i wanna pass it to them. But i left it on the bus! i wasn't even sure at first if i had even brought it outta house so i just went a long with the day hoping that it might be at home... Guess what? Haha it wasn't so i called up the bus interchange and the Train Stations asking if they have seen a bag full of clothes... They say they didn't find anything... I was quite discourage about it cos i have to replace the shirts which will cost me about $200...

I thought, what in the world! I help them to collect the shirts and now i lost it! I shouldn't be a smart alec shouldn't be so kaypoh... I was angry at myself for being careless but i wanna find someone to blame so I blamed God... I remember feeling like i was just trying to help yet i made it worst, God why did you let it happen? Why did you not remind me when i was getting down the bus?

After sulking to God for awhile,(it's already tuesday) i thought bo pian i lost the shirts i need to replace it. Blaming God wouldn't solve the problem so i called up the tailor to tell him to re make the shirts. Then he told me the good news, the bus company called him up and told him that they found the shirts cos his contact was printed on the bag. I was so relief! So i got back the shirts and passed it to the band members...

Now as i thought more about it i realise God of coz didnt let me down but He still blessed me even though i blamed him. Thanks to the kind soul who found the shirts and decided that he or she doesn't really like it. Thank God for the honest tailor, he could have not tell me that they found the shirts and make another $200 off me. I guess this is my highlight of the week... This week haven really ended yet so i hope it can only get better!!!
