today is my last day at work.. AND IT'S OVER!!! omg..

i can't believe that the past 10 weeks have flown by so quickly.. and all i can really say is that i really enjoyed myself making friends with ppl from friendly departments.. haha..

and as usual.. i was quite afraid of going to finance.. if you do really find out the story of me and finance.. great.. if you didn't.. you can ask.. and i can tell you.. haha!

anyway.. someone in finance found out it was my last day.. cos michael wished me all the best and theresa gave me a hug.. they are like my parents.. so touching.. i wanted to cry.. moving on..

B: its your last day today?
me: yah.. i'm the same as her (points to nazreen)

I really didn't quite understand his slang.. haha..

B: Oh?? (stands and stares in shock)
me: yup.. bye.. (walks away quickly..)

and he followed me out of the office!! omg..

omg.. i really wanted to laugh.. but thinking about it.. he suddenly showed me a different side of him.. but i'm still quite freaked out.. when i told my colleagues about it.. i nearly cried cos i was laughing so much.. oops. =X

anyway.. that was finance.. a department worth remembering.. =)

moving on.. i bought a lot of muffins.. in total.. 24.. and chin nan.. i didn't give you leftovers.. i put it aside specially for the 3 of you ok.. i'm not so bad.. haha..

i went round giving muffins from my dept to admin.. to angela and her boss from IT.. to congyi who happened to come down to my dept and to the 3 musketeers in Inst'l.. and junjie said i was giving out red eggs.. -_-" i told him that he will be giving out wedding invitations.. haha.

i spent close to my last half an hour of official working time in Inst'l talking to 2 out of 3 musketeers cos one of them was busy.. while the other 2 were busy eating the muffins.. and i finally got to see who Frank is.. ( and yes.. frank is a name..) i only saw his side view yesterday.. haha..

i told chin nan about finance and he kept trying to act like chi ko pek.. -_-" oh wells.. that's him.. and Frank.. he just looks too familiar to be true.. i'm quite sure i have seen him some where before.. i just can't remember where.. or else he jus looks like another friend of mine.. anyway.. we crapped a lot.. and talked.. and OMG!! i freaking forgot to print out the e-mail cos that's my IOU to get my treat from frank.. argh... oh wells.. his sms is the IOU now.. haha.. shhhhhh..

ok.. so we crapped.. and finally when i decided to leave with the well wishes of 2 musketeers cos the slacker left early.. i ended up meeting another one.. and OMG.. i was saved by the slacker at the lift landing.. PHEW!! i was like 'HELP ME PLEASE!!' and i promised to tell him why if he replied my essay.. but i doubt he will.. haha..

i received a gift from my whole dept. its a bag.. so sweet of them.. =) and my supervisior specially bought me something else so that i will remember her.. haha.. so sweet of her too!! =)

seriously.. when everyone gave me their well wishes at work.. i felt like i'm getting married on monday.. haha.. seriously.. its like 'all the best yah??' or 'take care of yourself ok??' i feel like they are my family.. and i'm leaving them to get married to school.. haha.. no link.. but can understand?? haha.. =X

so i guess that's all today.. i'm waiting for my little boy to call me.. i really hope he can come out this weekend.. hopefully the confinement will be another time.. or NO CONFINEMENT also can.. =( my colleauges talked about him over lunch.. and i felt so sad.. =(

lunch was great today.. had quite a lot of fun and laughter..

i was picky with my food that's why i said NO to yong tau foo immediately. haha.. and i think i was full by all the talking.. haha! no lah.. my stomach small during lunch.. big during snack times!! haha..

i didn't understand why the guy had to try his best to pronounce it.. to me.. once we understand.. get along.. oh wells.. he wasn't the only one that said mee goreng that gave the both of us a shock. haha..

i came to a conclusion that from the 2 sec schools that we came from.. we really have to give those working there a chance on the pronunciation.. haha.. oops..=X

offically.. i'm left with 4 working days before i'm back to school mugging once again.. i think i'm going to miss everyone back there.. i want to lenghten my stay there.. i'm like starting to make friends from departments but talking crap and stuff..

met up with audrey today.. and we had such a good time talking like last week.. haha.. we should do this every week.. haha.. or try to do every week.. haha.. shopping the next time.. i hope..

anyway.. we got stopped by some guys working for Prudential.. and this is not the first time i got stopped by them.. its the 2nd.. 1st at bishan.. now at bugis.. they really like to be at places that start with 'B'.. oh wells.. moving on..

they stopped us cos they new we were students.. maybe cos we look young.. (thank you..)

they thought we were sec school students.. ( they must be blind.. look at the hair colour.. or else.. they were trying to be funny..)

when we said we weren't.. they said we were primary school kids.. (if you want to crack a joke.. make sure your customers aren't rolling your eyes at you already..)

they asked us how old are we.. (we are girls.. normally you don't ask for age.. but since we are ok with age.. you are safe..)

they said that they were tired.. and asked us to sit at their table jus to allow them to sit.. (what an excuse to ask ppl to do surveys.. whatever..)

so after filling up their surveys.. we talked.. and most of the time.. i'm rolling my eyes at audrey.. cos what they are saying.. i don't know how to react.. whether to laugh or jus ignore them..
they talked about birthdays.. introduced themselves.. talked about horoscope.. talked about which diploma we are studying in.. (and when we said 'hospitality.. we don't mean hospital.. its 2 different things.. english please..)

and finally..
they came to their main point..

'you do know we are from prudential right??'
come on.. your landyard says it all.. so when we said 'yes'

they were like 'how you know??'
come on.. are you stupid or are you stupid?' (i'm so sorry that i'm being so harsh.. cos its really ridiculous..)

so they talked about saving money.. ' do you save money?'
we responded..

'how about saving in Prudential?'
and here goes..

'what makes you think that i want to save money in Prudential when the market is so bad? what if next thing prudential is the one facing problems? i rather save my money in a biscuit tin.. its safer'

guess what the guy said?
'ok.. erm.. i don't know how to explain to you.. maybe another time.. when the market gets better.. then i'll call you.. thanks a lot..' *shakes hand*

COME ON!! please lah.. the market is so bad.. anything can happen.. i don't mean to say the next in line is prudential.. but ppl are a bit reserve these days.. is the company willing to pay for compensation if they find out that their sales ppl are pushing hard to get sales?? so many companies are facing the problem already.. AIA was one good case where ppl withdrew their policies.. what more anything else.. ppl are going by trust.. but not many ppl are going to start with new things for the time being.. they are saving money in biscuit tins for rainy days..

oh wells.. maybe i'm talking crap.. but please.. i'm quite sian of seeing this ppl around already..

omg.. i nearly lost my template and ending up with a blog that looks so weird..
thankfully everything is back to normal.. haha..

anyway.. its day 1 of field camp.. and i hope he's doing fine.. didn't have a good sleep last night due to this morning's breakfast.. haha.. my colleague also didn't sleep well.. haha.. oh wells.. both of us were afraid that we would be late for work!! haha..

but all went well.. and we were both super tired.. thank God we managed to last the whole day.. haha.. another 1 1/2 weeks more and i'm leaving this place.. not sure whether is it a good thing.. i can't imagine myself not opening the mail everyday.. talking to the mailroom ppl..

walking around to different departments.. meeting new ppl.. sending documents.. seeing freaky ppl which makes us laugh.. AH!! oh wells.. to think i used to dread.. but now.. i guess i've learnt from someone.. to always take the positive outlook in doing things.. oh wells.. =)

i'm having a positive outlook.. that these 6 days will pass quickly.. i hope he receives my letter through snail mail.. haha.. i'm crossing my fingers.. please let him read it.. at least make him happy... or touched.. or what so ever.. as long as i can see him smile or at least imagine him smile.. i'm a happy girl.. =)

Company bowling event yesterday..

oh my gosh.. it was so so so stressful.. cos i was playing with a team that has be winning many prizes.. stress.. and i was so worried that i would pull them down.. and to my surprise..


we won 2nd!!

so cool right?? haha.. we thought we would lose cos some of them didn't feel that they were on form.. but in the end?? WAH!! so happy.. haha.. though it was stressful.. had a lot of fun too.. we were constantly cheering the rest on.. and when someone strikes or spares.. we scream like anything.. haha.. (back to mg times where we cheer and scream.. thankfully i'm not very high pitched in screaming.. but i'm sure some ppl felt that i was noisy enough already.. haha!!)

one of my team member kept calling me anchor girl.. make me feel like some beer hostess.. haha.. 'anchor beer'.. haha.. oh wells.. though we didn't have 1 trophy each.. we still had $40 voucher each.. haha.. so fun!!

i'm quite surprised that my body didn't ache as much as i thought it would.. haha.. sad to say i'm leaving the company already.. if i can join the company again.. and be part of the team.. i think it would be great.. haha.. i'm better than some guys!! WOOO~ haha..

the CEO thinks that my parents don't trust me for staying out late that's why they came to support me.. haha.. oh wells.. :P at least i had my family supporting me.. hehe.. and of course ppl from my department too!! haha..
