Color Hues #68 and NBUS #52

I didn't realize what a striking combination olive and berry were until I pulled out some cardstock to make a card for Color Hues.  Love it!

Altenew Sulfur Cosmos cut from cardstock and inked with Rubelite for dimension although I think I have a tendency to not go dark enough to make a good contrast.   For the background I die cut the Ornate Nesting Dies from Altenew and ran it through with the Wicker Texture folder.  The sentiment is from their One-Go Birthday.

This is the inaugural debut of the embossing folder and Ornate Die so I'm sending my card to NBUS

Thanks for dropping by.

Another gorgeous floral design with lots of texture using those cool colors together! And how fun to use your e/f on a die-cut panel which adds even more interest - bam! Thank you for inspiring everyone at NBUS! Hugs, Darnell

You used one of my favorite CAF dies from Altenew, Bobby, and it looks glorious in these colors (it is a great combo, isn't it?). Adding the embossing to the die cut panel makes such a great spot to anchor your flower and sentiment. Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful card with us at Color Hues!

You Cosmo is so gorgeous Bobby! We planted them in our yard for the first time this year. They grew taller than expected so they have been transplanted two times, but they survived! The wicker embossed background adds fantastic texture! Love this card. Thank you for sharing with us at the Color Hues!
