Yesterday was our BlOg PaRtY. We had a pretty good turnout, and everyone learned something (even the teachers!). Here is a basic recap of what we learned:
How to get on the blog:
(I realize this is silly, because you are already here!)
Type bh2rs.blogspot.com in the address bar
-the address bar is at the top of the screen, the search engine is in the middle of the screen (Do not type it in the search engine, as all searches for this blog are turned off! This is so not just anyone can view the blog.)
Returning to the Blog:
Once you come to the blog, you can bookmark it (click on "bookmark" at the top of the screen). That will make it easier to visit the site in the future (you may click on it now if you like).
OR, you can save it as an icon on your desktop.
1. Restore down the screen (small boxes in the right-hand corner by the X).
2. Next, find the orange and white "B" that is in the address bar at the top of the screen.
3. Left click on the "B", hold, and drag it over to an empty space by your other icons, release. Viola! You have a major shortcut to the website.
If you have dial-up, you need to connect before clicking on the icon.
Making a Comment:
Making a comment is so important! It lets us know that people are viewing and using the blog. It motivates us to update the blog more often. And it helps us help you!
At the bottom of each post, it reads, "POSTED BY RELIEF SOCIETY AT ____ (time) 0 comments"
-Click on comments.
-You will go to a different screen where you will be able to read all the comments that have been left, and a place to write your own comment!
After writing your comment, you must choose an identity.
-You can either log in with your username and password.
-OR click on "Name/URL". Type in your name (first, last, or both).
-Then click "Publish your comment".
Keeping in Touch:
Keep checking the sidebar for updated information regarding choir, church cleanup, birthdays, Sunday lessons, cannery, play date, and much more! There are also great links to other websites. If you have a blog or website that you would like to share with us, please leave your web/blog address as a comment. Then we'll add you to our list of "Sisters & Friends."
