God can never be an accountant.
today i thought praise and worship was awesome. Thanks Daniel for all the pointers. Even though Daniel gave me pointers on how to prepare, for both services, my mind just blanked out and I forgot everything i prepared to share. haha. but God is just so good. Through both services, i saw how things moved. How the Holy Spirit directed our worship towards. in first service, we're just so won by God's love because He came for us and His love is so big. in second service, we're reminded that we're called to serve Him at this tender age. for both, God ministered to my heart deeply.
God's forgiveness is boundless.
God's forgiveness has no records.
I was very touched by Pastor Jeff's sharing about Peter today. How Peter changed so much after facing the forgiveness of God. Truly it's grace which changes us. It's grace that made such a big difference. Jesus wanted to meet Peter even after he denied Him. that's GRACE. and that made the difference. God's the ultimate person for persuation. to win people's hearts, you gotta play the right cards, else you'd be pushing on a string.
Jesus, You've won my heart.
and yes, God can't be an accountant. because He keeps no record of sin.

it is often said: "in school, there's so much competition."
is the competition self-imposed? when you start comparing yourself to others. when you scheme, you plot in order to manipulate the bell-curve. i gotta admit, there were quite a few incidences when the thought "hey, if you help this person too much, you might lose out later cuz he'll do better than you" popped into my mind.
i've heard of people stealing notes and textbooks, but i never want to fall into that.
1 John 2
9Anyone who claims to be in the light but hates his brother is still in the darkness. 10Whoever loves his brother lives in the light, and there is nothing in him to make him stumble. 11But whoever hates his brother is in the darkness and walks around in the darkness; he does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded him.
what's the bigger picture in mind? loving God and making Him known. not achieving this world and making it your own.

the sem started, with much jitter and fear, i plunged in.
through continual prayer, i have finished the semester. with just 3 exams to go. and the first 1/2 a year of my uni life is through. in just a flash, 2008 is drawing to a close.
had a great run with jansen today, from school to clark quay, to esplanade, nicoll highway, kallang river and back to school. thanks jansen for dragging me about. we shared about motives, how our motives have changed now.
1 John 1:5
Walking in the light
5This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. 6If we claim to have fellowship with him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live by the truth. 7But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.
this kinda shows how our motives changed, as we walked in the light, as we stepped out of darkness, our motives changed to be authentic and for God.
i'm glad to have jansen to hang out with. =)
now, STATS, MFE AND INTRO ECONS. I WONT BE DAUNTED BY YOU CUZ I GOT JESUS.
