HAH. i just saw this in my kitchen. its hilarious.




basically, its a chinese lunar calender. and if you realise, they actually state like what stuff you should do today and not do today. i usually find it extremely amusing because they would say stuff like... SUIT : sealing walls to kill insects. really random stuff.

anyway, apparently, there's not suit for today! because...
IT IS THE WORSE DAY OF THE YEAR.

rofl. okay la, i din think my paper went too well, but God told me to surrender. and i thought wfl was great!

its not the day and circumstances which dictate how great your day is. its your decisions and outlook upon the day's event that does that.

rejoice in the Lord always. i thought today was great. =)

i think i'll revamp my blog. got this since j1. that's a good good 4 years!

today was a tiring day man, i was struggling to stay awake for sermon for like point 2 about being healthy! lol but i'm so glad i woke up. somehow, i love pastor jeff's sermons, his sermons always come with a smack in the face... like... hey! wake up! there's something you gotta do with this area of your life, there's something to do with that in your life. haha, i think it could partially be due to his wife claudia? i remember once that pastor jeff told us about how his wife would come to him and say: "hey jeff, church not growing leh. i'm off to bed, go think about it." these kinda "SMACK IN THE FACE" statements, i think is what encourages a man such as pastor jeff to go on cause it would keep him sleepless.

i thought worship today was fantastic, especially during altar call in second service. God really spoke through pastor jeff. anointing is by oil. oil leaks. the heart is wayward. if we don't get to God daily, we'll be dry and forget all about His goodness. this point came across to me that our walk with God is really a marathon, not a sprint. its consistency that matters, not peaks, not the dips. and God is ever so gracious to wait for us.

all in all, i wanna wrap up this post with some words from a song and how i want my life to be for the rest of my life.

started summer term in smu. seriously, i think i'm not some talented kid. i tried to study for the 2 quizzes i had so far and i think i'll get a raw score of 8/16. God, i want to honour You in my studies. so please, bless the work of my hands. that i may be a testimony for You.

if i get an A, i can declare it now, God did it, not me.

God, You make my heart leap.
You never fail to pick me up.
