minops caregroup was a bash. me and wen were turtles cuz we came late. haha, the people who stayed back got more sun! we stayed back, had lots of games and the guys managed to take the luge! haha. LUGE is fun. i din play though... haha, decided to sit and guard the bags.

been working and haha, i dun think i have been coping too well. realised that i take way too much time to do things. NOT EFFECTIVE. i'm just not too used to having no time for me to finish my work. haha. ministry. i havent had time to meet people due to the gazillion commitments i have. its quite ridiculous. my typical schedule for the week

Mon - Tuition
Tues - Vocal Class
Wed - WAM gathering/shepherding
Thur - Misc
Fri - Prac
Sat - SVC
Sun - CG and prepare for tuition.

haha, all these are compounded by the fact that i work from 8 - 530 everyday. no time. always tired. haha, but God is my victory! gotta learn to juggle it better. at least for next week because i'm ending work on good friday. mm. its already end march soon. time to review the singers for the 3 month growth plans. as for those i didn't get to meet, I AM SO SORRY. shall hunt you down asap. it shall be no 1 on my priority list.

admist all my business, i've only snatched some time with God here and there. like from 8.30 - 9.00 when the phone is the quietest at my work place, I'm thankful that i can read the Word at such times. God showed me the life of Asa. he was a king of judah after solomon's reign and when people's life standards dropped. basically, it all started with solomon when he didn't do what was right in God's eyes, then the whole of isreal was split into isreal and judah. 2 different rulers, one ruling isreal, the other judah. basically, when Asa was leading judah, he did what was right in God's eyes and he reigned for like 40 years. then when compared to the other kingdom, the kings were not doing what was right in God's eyes, they ruled for like 3 - 4 years.

goes to show. You need God's approval to last.

after seeing derrick blog, i'm quite inspired how he can sit down and just pen his thoughts down so easily.

so, i shall pen my thoughts down too.

i've spent a bomb on many things recently. its almost as if i'm getting paid $2000 dollars a month when my next pay slip is 530 (even lower than my nsf pay btw). so, here's the breakdown for you.
i think i've spent at least 200 on good food in jan till now.
i sold my guitar for 200 and bought a 430 one. so technically, i spent like 250.
i signed up for some lasalle course, that 500.
i bought tickets to thailand - 160(thank God this is cheap for its worth)
and of course, the usual birthdays and all.

my bank is depleting. how on earth am i to save up to go new zealand? GOD. save me financially.

now, for whining for my job. in my work place, every female speaks about getting pregnant. the funniest thing is, the reason for it would be the gorgeous 84 days of MATERNITY LEAVE they would get to escape from this workplace. which is dead hilarious. last friday, this super nice colleague of mine just left work. though the boss persuaded her numerous times to stay, but every action from her spoke of her being more relieved about being jobless. her name is siew chan. i think she's this amazingly lady with tonnes of life stories. she was telling me her nursing experience during the gulf war the other time. which is really, quite spectacular.

lets talk about more random stuff!
i'm amazed at how my mum darts in and out between people and into the train. i really suspect she's like ninja trained. for the past 3 weeks, i have been taking the train with her to work. she would alight at tanjong pagar, me at raffles. my mum can really squeeze her way into tight spots and the best thing is that she doesnt push, she doesnt shove, she just pops in between. =O unlike some aunties who push and shove me, i usually turn with a scowl on my face and they would back off. my mum just darts. maybe i should start searching her wardrobe for ninjitsu equipment. not surprised to find shurikens around my house.

why is the government creating a line connecting woodlands to town only?! seriously, choa chu kang is the place which needs the connection the most. trust me, woodlands to orchard takes 1/2 an hour. choa chu kang needs like 50 minutes regardless of which direction i take. you know, i think us Christians in Singapore are so blessed. i'm whining over a 50 minute ride to service. can you imagine the thai people who take 3 hours to get to service and 3 hours home? that's a test of commitment. but at the rate singapore is going, with all the plans for all the train lines. i think singapore will be so webbed with trains and will have more funny names coming up. now there is the north-south line, east-west line, northeast line, circle line, i wonder will there be a central west line, northwest line, square line, oval line, hexagon line, trapedium line, linear line. okay nvm i'm blabbering.

all in all, i dont thikn i'm much of a thinker. so i gotta get my brains to think.
