when temptation becomes a choice, what will you do?

saw this question in ah boy's blog. reminds me of this verse.

1 Peter 4:1

Therefore, since Christ suffered in his body, arm yourselves also with the same attitude, because he who has suffered in his body is done with sin.

to be done with sin. Lord, i'm waiting to see that.

just watched the last episode of heros. God placed this thought into my head.

imagine your best friend. someone who has grown up with you all your life. someone who has shared all your woes, all your joys with you. someone you've argued with before, yet your friendship goes beyond all these menial matters. someone who has carried your burden with you before. basically someone as dear to you as your own life.

if your friend had to be crucified for the greater good. for a cause which goes beyond words because the value of this cause is so high. would you help your friend carry his cross up calvary?

i cant. i cant imagine doing that for harry.

but God did exactly just that when He chose to do nothing when Jesus went up to die.

that's how much we're worth. that's how much i'm worth.
