...to a beautiful and lovely lady who I am so happy to call my sister in law. It was a wonderful ceremony with a fantastic party afterwards, all organised in the space of a month! I helped out with a bit of pop pom decoration but really the venue was so fantastic it didn't need much. They chose The Roost, a location for film and photography, for their reception and WOW!! what an incredible place. An old edwardian house in Dalston, set over 4 floors, each room filled with great props and decorated in a different way, all with that faded grandeur look to it which I love. All the guys were given flat caps and the ladeez got fans as the wedding favours which I labelled using an old typewriter and some cheap cloth. A wonderful day had by all. Congratulations Kendal and Michelle, can't believe you beat me to it, we got a lot to live up to now:)

Mint
When looking at the lovely blog of Chocolate Creative (below) one of their links was Mint, a brick and mortar shop in London who also have a lovely website. I chanced upon their blog and found these lovely brightly colored offerings. I love the contrast of the rough, natural bark and the bright, smooth gloss interior. Ticket to London for one, please - I need to get my mits on those bowls!

Lush Designs
I'm in love with Lush Designs!! We are in the process of making our house a bit nicer this summer and so have been trawling through the 'net in search of lovely bits for our house. During one of my recent trawls, I came across Lush Designs who make these amazing lampshades, I would love one of each design as they are all wonderful. Lush also design tea-towels, cushions aprons and more and for those of you lucky enough to live in/or near London, they also have a shop based in Greenwich Market.
