Ready for Beading

I have been stitching although I know I better not do anything too complicated as I am still on pain medicine. Great for pain but bad for counting!
This piece is ready for beads. Now I have to remember where I put the last three from this series so my daughter can find it in the basement.

A Little Mill Hill Progress

This is where I left off last month on Benjamin:
And now he is getting his lamb! I realized I only have 3 more of these kits and then I can hang them this year! So they are in my pile to do while recuperating from surgery.

My Little Project

I am getting tired of Mill Hill kits. Yes, I am fickle. I want to work on my big projects but time and life issues do not allow. So Mill Hill bead kits follow me to doctor visits and when I have 10 minutes before bed.
This is where I left Benjamin in March.
He tagged along on quite a few places so he is looking a lot better.
I think when he gets to the beading stage I will look for a different small project. I have plenty of Mill Hills to do, but I think I need a canvas piece to relieve the stress of all those little x's.

Do You Count Your Stitches?

I have decided that I need to get a few cross stitch projects moving forward. This is what Benjamin looked like when I picked it up on Sunday:
Here is what it looks like today:
I figure if I do at least 100 stitches a week, I am more likely to get it done this year.
So, do you count your stitches?

Another Mill Hill Bead Kit

I had started this one in January. A friend has given me a new Mill Hill kit but I need to get the ones I have started done before I start another. Do you believe me?
Here is what I use to add beads:
My son made the box with the lid with my name on it.
I also use a tin box with a beading mat in it.
These things keep my beads in place.

Day 11-Benjamin-Nativity Trilogy

Yes, I think I have the whole set of these Mill Hill bead kits!  My college bound sons were laughing at me when I told them I was starting another.  They told me I need to get 3 of these starts done before they come home from college.  They were figuring that I was starting 15 new projects.  I didn't tell them about all the WIPs I plan on working on over the next month....
