James has grown up so much in this past month I can't believe! He is WALKING EVERYWHERE! It is the cutest thing in the world. He started taking steps a little before his first birthday, and he is a total pro now. He can even stand up on his own in the middle of a room! He loves books, and will walk around with them all over. He also has a stuffed monkey that we call "Dillo" (James named him). He loves him so much, and smiles real big whenever he seems him. He also loves putting him places (like drawers, trucks, pots, mom, dad, etc.), he thinks it is hilarious.
He loves following me around the kitchen and "helping me cook." He also
gets greatly offended if he isn't allowed to participate in washing
dishes. We call him the spoon inspector, because he always takes out all
the spoons out of the dishwasher. Oh, and he has his own drawer in the
kitchen that he frequents, well frequently! The contents of said drawer
are always strewn all over the house.

This past weekend it snowed (and its still snowing... sigh.) so we stayed inside and played space cadets. James had an awesome spaceship made out of cardboard. It was a lot of fun... mostly for Ben and I. I think James didn't know what was going on most the time. Then we went out in the snow for a little bit!
