Oh those eyelashes...

I've always said I wanted a baby girl with long eyelashes. I guess dreams do come true because
Isabella has the most gorgeous eyelashes! She is such a joy in my life and I love her more than I can describe. What a wonderful daughter I have! I love you Bella!

TURNING 31

I turned 31 thinking the same way I have for years. I want to be better, do more and have more free time! LOL
I'm serious! I have so many projects and ideas and areas of improvement I just feel overwhelmed all the time. I don't think wanting to improve and be better is a bad thing but I'm no wonderwoman and I get so tired just thinking about everything I want to do. It goes from drinking more water to building a strong business, from tidying every corner of this house to having time to start a jigsaw puzzle with my husband. Phew! I'm tired already, but at least I cannot be accused of settling. I like being 31, it's being me that is hard!! JK!

MY BIRTHDAY GIFT!

No. Isabella is not my birthday gift. She is my everyday gift. My AMAZING birthday gift is a 50mm 1.4 Nikon lens. Ben gave it to me a little earlier because I desperately needed it! It makes my photos so much better! I am so excited! Thanks Ben! I love you!

Our little shrimp!

Isabella had her first swimming lesson at the YMCA today. She is in the shrimp class!
She loved it! Her favorite thing was seeing all the other kids. I thought she was going to cry her eyes out when I submerged her but after a few seconds she was totally fine! Daddy was there to film and photograph it all! It was a lot of fun!

Back to work!

Finally got back to work after almost a year. My first session was my favorite: a newborn baby! My friend Sharon brought her brand new baby boy to my studio yesterday and we had a lot of fun with this mellow little guy. At just 10 days, Lucas is sweet and adorable. Just perfect. These are the resulting shots. I love them.

2nd anniversary!

Today was our 2nd anniversary! Time flies hum?
I gave Ben a video game(I know, very boring and predictable but it is what he wanted) and he was very creative, romantic and as usual bought me things that I loved (the tennis bracelet and the flower wall decor instead of flowers- I thought it was a great idea!+ a beautiful greeting card) We had fun having dinner at the Downriver Grill and being out by ourselves for a change.
It has been the most amazing time of my life and so many wonderful things happened in these 2 years. I am very grateful for my wonderful husband and for my beautiful daughter and I hope we have many great years like these 2 have been.

SEVENTH MONTHIVERSARY CAKE!

I made this cake for Isabella's seventh monthiversary. It was inspired by her favorite stuffed animal. It even has a tag! (her favorite part of any toy!) It was really fun to make but it was more work that I thought it would be!

Meeting Xan!!!

Right before we went to Brazil, we got to meet Xan. Hillary came from Atlanta and we were able to get the cousins together. Bella wanted to give him a lot of love and he just wasn't having it! Men...

FUN IN THE KENNEL!

Ben, Bella and I went to the Zags x Peperdine game yesterday. It was fun to dress Bella up in full Zags gear. People thought she looked really cute. She enjoyed most of it and even slept for about 40 minutes, but at the end it was just getting too loud for her and the noise was startling her.The Zags won and we had a good time!

Figure Skating Championship 2010

Last Sunday(01/17/2010)we went to the Figure Skating Championship in the Spokane Arena.
It was really fun! We watched the Novice Men Competition and Novice Pairs. A 10 year-old Asian boy won! He was so cute and so good! Isabella had a good time too. She loves music so she enjoyed listening to the different songs. Grandpa Jim got her a really cute teddy bear that has ice skates on. We decided to call it Zambone! She loves it! She especially loves chewing on his ice skates. It was fun!

6 MONTHS!!!!!!!

6 months! Where has time gone?!?
Isabella gets smarter, cuter and funnier every day and it's wonderful to see her grow.
She is a sweet baby and we have so much fun together!
She has just started eating vegetables and fruits, she has 2 teeth coming in and she can babble like there's no tomorrow!
We love you Bella!
