can you tell he has a big sister?
I hope we don't scar him too much. :/
ALWAYS in need of a haircut.

snow shoeing

This year, we made a goal to use our snowshoes, but as our luck would have it there was very little snow this year. The lack of snow didn't stop us though.
Somehow my sister and her husband had never been snowshoeing. We made sure to change that.
Kahtoola Bigfoot 50K ~ Marathon ~ 25K ~ 10K ~ 5K
We had this great idea to do a snowshoe 5K. Kicked our butts! I can't imagine doing the 50K or marathon. Granted, the snow that day was extra slushy and wasn't very deep, we were slipping and sliding all over. Whatever.

ice skating

We donned ice skates. It was pretty awesome.
These girlies had a blast pushing the walker together.
Could this face be any happier?
Miss Independent decided she was ready to skate without the help of anyone. How did she get so big?

Santa Run 2014

In December we ran the Santa 5K thinking it'd be a great race to run as a family. Worst. idea. ever. The course was extremely narrow AND it doubled back on itself so it was extremely crowded the entire way. A section jumped over a curb and shot across a strip of grass... try that with a double stroller. On top of it all, we got a flat tire the last mile, if the stroller hadn't been a neighbor's, we would have chucked it in the river.
Ezzy had a blast though. She ran over a mile with my mom and loved it! I guess it was worth it for her. ;)
No one told me my hat was sticking up like a fool. :/

Thanksgiving 2014

Whoops! I forgot to record Thanksgiving. This year we went to Vernal and spent a few days with Brandon's family.
Fun games with cousins.
The next day, Vernal held a "Holly Days" Celebration. The kids enjoyed pony and camel rides, popcorn, games, and ice sculptures.

Museum of Natural Curiosity

While all the cousins were here we had to spend a day at the Museum of Natural Curiosity. I kind of want to go without kids. ;)
