Garlic and Blood Pressure: Does it work?

My mom's had high blood pressure for as long as I can remember. It's always been an issue every time we go to the doctor's office.

At one time, she was on 4 different medications for her blood pressure. They made her feel sick and her hair fell out. My mom was pretty much bald on the top of her head. She was not happy about balding, especially when she once had a beautiful head of hair.

Gradually my mom got off the pharma meds, even though her doctor wanted her to take the pills, she stopped taking them. Mom started to feel better and her blood pressure began to come down as she lost weight and exercised. We noticed that when she walks every day for 20 minutes on the treadmill, her pressure is lower.

I've also been cooking more with garlic. For the last 3 nights I've been loading up our dinners with garlic. This morning, my mom's blood pressure was 138/60! It had been reading 160/90 before I began using more garlic in my food preparation.

It won't be long now before my mom can toss out her last pharmaceutical medication.

Oh ya, her hair is beginning to grow back too which makes her very happy.
