Liberty Dear Jane almost finished

Hi dear friends,

my Liberty Dear Jane is almost finished!!! Till end of the year I managed to finish all the blocks, for this quilt I only made 81, it will be a lap quilt for me. Then I started ssembling them. Since I did my blocks with the QAYG method, it was very fast. Here you can have a look at my tutorial: QAYG.

First 9 Liberty DJ babies

Hello dear followers,

here are my first 9 Liberty Dear Jane babies. Today I sat down thinking about how many blocks I wanted to sew. I excluded blocks that I didn't particularly like and ended up with 132 blocks I will probably sew. The quilt will then be 11 x 12 blocks. That's for now....

Liberty Dear Jane in progress

Hello friends,

here are my frist 6 Liberty DJ block, sandwiched and hand quilted. They are so fun to make. As you can see on the back of each block I used the same fabric I used for the block. I took inspiration from here.

As far as I have a little spare time I'll go on with more blocks.

NANTES - PART 4

Hi friends,

today I'll post pictures from Trentemoult. It is a small former fishermen's village. Now more an artistic community with lovely restaurants, charming houses and quiet corners. I spent my Nantes days there in a cosy Chambre d'hôtes. Every enening I tried a new restaurant for my dinner... great food!!! In the morning I took the little Navibus to reach the other side of the river and go to the center of Nantes.
