Black Swallowtail

Carson and Hailey found some caterpillars in the garden and have been feeding them in the house for a couple of weeks. The first one finally emerged from its cocoon today and the kids had fun holding it while it dried its wings.

What a neat thing for the kids to see and experience. Our Heavenly Father is so loving, I'm glad the kids got to see a small miracle happen.

Wow, you guys made a great cage for the kids to watch it all happen. Grandpa hopes one will hatch while he is there!

Awesome. How fun for them to see the transformation. Hopefully they get to see a few more butterflies come out. Carson and Hailey are sure growing up fast. Can't wait to see you all.
