We started our hike out great, nothing to strenuous, piece of cake. The farther we went up the mountain the more snow we encountered. Well let me just tell you...The best work out ever!! ha! With all the snow on the ground it made it harder to get up that stinkin' mountain. We got maybe a 1/3 of the way up and recognized some HUGE paw prints in the snow (fresh ones too for that matter). We stopped and examined the specimen and came to a conclusion that they were MOUNTAIN LION tracks! I swear to you, they were beyond the size of a dog! We contemplated many times up the mountain whether we should keep going or turn back. Neither of us felt like we were about to become LUNCH so we pressed on up the mountain. We finally reached our destination... THE WATERFALL! It was beautiful, everything I had imagined! ha. :) We ate our lunches up there and took in the beauty of the land. 
We had such a great time that day! We talked all the way up and laughed all the way down (partly because I was sliding and falling all over the place). I seriously have the greatest friends in the world. I always can count on them for anything! Thanks Lex for dragging my butt up the mountain! :) I'm so glad I went! Surprising enough, I can't wait till our next hiking adventure.

How fun! I love going for hikes! I'm so happy that the weather is finally good enough to consider it. Love the pics, you guys are too cute.

now you just need to go in the summer! i love hiking! that's freaky you saw mt. lion paw prints, glad you guys are alright! and i had no idea you didn't like hiking!
