faery picnic; and a bit of stamping for ICAD

for sunday postcard art: fruit

images from dezinaworld, itKuPiLLi, pixabay, and miles beyond the moon.

also today: my index card a day ICAD #14 "chamomile."

i looked up an image of chamomile and it is sort of daisy looking. so i made this card with rubber stamps, spritzed watercolor inks, a grassy bit from a tumblefish creations digital kit, and a bit of an unsteady hand on the stamping...

but hopefully the sentiment comes through.

love to all.

fruits and flowers: vintage botanicals 2

continuing with our celebration of the vintage garden and vintage botanicals at lunagirl moonbeams i'm offering up a second tag featuring the botanical tags collage sheets from lunagirl.

this "grape goddess" tag includes one of the botanical tags as a background and a goddess from one of the goddess collage sheets and a fairy from one of the butterfly collage sheets.  i've added washi tape and prima flowers as well.

one more week to link up!  a randomly selected winner will get some shopping credit at the lunagirl store...

fruits and flowers: vintage botanicals

it is a friday so it must be time for a new challenge at lunagirl moonbeams. for the next two weeks we'll be exploring art involving fruits and flowers.  karen at lunagirl provided our DT with some vintage botanical tags so here is my first piece.

i'm calling this the "cherry goddess" since in addition to the botanical tags sheet from lunagirl i've also used one of the goddess collage sheets and the birds collage sheets.  other than that this is a simple tag with only some distressing, washi tape and a lovely dragonfly i obtained from the eyelet outlet.

i hope you will be able to play along!  a randomly selected winner will get some shopping credit at the lunagirl store, a fine prize for the artistic soul.
love to all.
