Ashley G abstracts and podcast

Hello friends! What a whirlwind week last week! Had a wonderful weekend though catching up on much needed family time, sleep and food. Yes, food. Seems there were a few too many "handfuls of almonds" going down. Our new show Progress by Ashley G is simply an eye popper. Check it out online here and stay tuned for a podcast. It's coming. A few technical difficulties, but it's on the way. Right now it sounds like Darth Vader stepped into our voices, so trying to adjust it a bit.
Either way - this cool show is just not to be missed. Check out the images on our flickr or just simply drop in!

Amber Lavalley :: new pen and ink drawings!

There is so much new art in house it's overwhelming! It is wonderful though to show you a peek of the new works in the shop by Amber Lavalley. The rest are in the shop, scoot over and have a peek. I am in serious love with this one above ...

Linda Plaisted -- the Treeline

Linda Plaisted from her notable studio: Many Muses, sent a body of work she named Treeline over to us last week for her upcoming show here at artstream. I have been bursting at the seams waiting to show you a peek this week! The walnut ink paintings with layers and layers of glaze atop make for the most beautiful "walk in a winter woods". The entire set are on canvas, affordable and breathtaking works of art. See the whole set over at flickr and they will be available for purchase in our shop on Saturday!

Come on in...

it's warm inside! Brrrr it's cold out now though.Old man winter has blown in quickly. Don't you like thinking about warm mittens, fires and snuggly blankets though? I am also quite fond of wrapping my head around the next two months of celebrations in our household. We have so much to be thankful for and our gallery is certainly on that list! As Melanie pointed out with her post here, be mindful of the small happiness. What small joys have you found lately? I will let my photos do the talking below

from the markt - tiny red berries

from darryl berger - cigartin art with a story inside!

vintage yumminess from a poppytalkhandmade table

and a late night addition of another small happiness:

around the table with family ...

Lisa Solomon Cadmium

Lisa Solomon Cadmium, originally uploaded by artstreamstudios.

Happy Friday all! Beautiful weather has shown up in the last few days and the humidity has calmed down to a normal perfect New England sort of summer season. We are bursting at the seams with surprises in boxes and crates...
Another sneak peek at the upcoming show -- opening next Friday at our "fresh paint" gallery.  Lots of beauty in boxes waiting to be opened and unfurled!
