Rylee's First Beach trip - and other things

My Tuesday lunch dates are so cute and so easy.  We hit up wherever after preschool on our way to getting the rest of the crew from early dismissal.  It's the calm before the storm and I love it.
Our storm involves cramming 10 kids into my car  and sometimes 12 kids into my house or backyard.  All good memories.
It's funny when the kids start getting older and you find it shocking to discover them sacked out on the couch.  He slept 14 hours that night!
Jackson is so in love with his birthday gift from Kaitlin and Markie - LOVES this outfit.
Mr. Cole looking as sharp as ever.
So I watched Hunter one day and the little man passed out on my couch.  But it was incredible cute when I went back and found my linen sack draped over him.  Apparently Cole thought it would be the perfect little blanket for his perfect little buddy.
Baseball season had finally come to an end so we were lucky enough to have a free Saturday in which we could celebrate Bauer's 2nd Birthday!

Taking the kids for a walk to the park is one of those things I don't do enough but each time I do it I think, "Why don't we do this more often!?!?"  Luckily, Ryan asks to go all the time so he's keeping me from my lazy self.

I couldn't believe Ryan's last homework assignment as a 1st grader involved a research project based on any famous person of their choice.  ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?!?  For one, we were so done with homework.  For two, this was an assignment that involved WAY too much parental doing.  Give me a break.

Jackson has decided to put our FHE board to use.  Again, these kids save us from ourselves.  It's actually been really nice and I'm grateful for their dedication to these efforts.
Sometimes it's the best sitting in the distance watching Cole have some alone time.

So, Markie wanted to go to the beach while in Cali.  I complained, of course, because I hate the beach, but he finally convinced me to make it happen.  Ha, right!  It was a great day and the most memorable part to me was the fact that Rylee didn't eat any sand.  I don't think I've had a kid that has avoided the great temptation to insert sand into their little mouth.

My little artist is always creating something out of anything!

 Cole, my little runner!

 Sea Turtles
 Yup, she's mine!

It wouldn't be a proper Arrietta outing without fine dining at the end of the day.
