MY BIRTHDAY

How do I sum up turning 28.... BLESSED - Blessed - Blessed - Seriously! Andrew and I have our plates full with this or that and we are often stressed - as I am sure many people are. These are the things we deal with... LIFE! Life is overwhelming and exhausting, but when surrounded by people that love you, everything becomes simple, peaceful, happy.
GIRLS NIGHT

Tina got things rolling and out we went. First Shirley, Mindee, Tina, Amber and I headed to dinner. We so missed Michalle but this is how incredible she is.... as she was about to pop, she was so thoughtful. She made me a necklace and came by to bring me my gift and wish me a happy birthday - then she went to go have a baby :) So she was with us in spirit for sure.
After dinner we headed into the movie - DON'T go see Couple's Retreat - but DO go hang out with your friends. :)
FAMILY DINNER
On the 23rd, my actual birthday, I headed home to meet up with my family for dinner. My grandparent's came into town so they joined us as did Mark, Bri and her boyfriend Steven. It was the perfect birthday setting. We went to Kisho and it was delicious. The last time I was there Tina and Jamie weren't too pleased, so I was nervous. But this time, they did not disappoint. The kids were in heaven too!

FRIEND DINNER
The Phillip's planned dinner for Danny's birthday - yes we're both that cool - and so after my family dinner, Andrew and I took Andi and headed over to BJ's for Danny's celebration. It was a great ending to a perfect day. It was wonderful being able to celebrate with them on my actual birthday. And it was even better that my parents took the boys so we only had ONE kid! Woohoo. Oh and they were even so kind as to include me in the Happy Birthday song.

LOMBARDI RANCH
This year it was hot and so very crowded, but still fun. The highlight had to have been the 70 something year old woman dressed in sailor attire yelling at the "brats" to get out of her way so her "girlfriend" could take her picture next to the pumpkin. But I guess watching the kids have fun was great too.

Yes - that's Dad, Abuelita, and Abuelito....

CPK
Really - what can I say... YUM!

WARD HALLOWEEN PARTY
Ok so it wasn't exactly our ward - but it was the ward with many of our friends. Mindee was so awesome in letting us borrow costumes for the babies. I just didn't have my act together this year so she took care of it - BLESSED.

I can't wait until group pictures are possible - can everyone PLEASE look at the camera?

GIRLS NIGHT - w/JAMIE
I love it when Jamie comes to town... but it doesn't happen often enough. Sadly I missed dinner because we were at the Halloween party, but I luckily got to hang out with Jamie, Amber, Tina, and Marci Saturday night. And boy was that a LATE night! Fun times ladies!

THE BEACH
Yes, I ask to go every year, and yes, I don't ever plan on stopping. So after church we headed home, kept the kids in the car, packed up, and headed out. My parents, grandparents, aunt and uncle, and in-laws all came to hang out with me. I don't think anyone else wanted to go, well maybe Abuelita and the kids, but other than that... So again, BLESSED that they would make that sacrifice. I know that sounds silly - a sacrifice to go to the beach, I said these people blessed my life, I never said they were normal. It was gorgeous, warm and peaceful - GORGEOUS!

Lombardi with Preschool

She loved watching everyone around her.

Ryan so badly wanted to join the other kids - he seemed to enjoy the maze. This was of course right before Jackson fell off the hay - he shouldn't have been up there!
My anal child took as much time as it took five of his classmates to pick out a pumpkin. I don't know where he gets that from.
