Sassy Scrappers Loving Greetings Card

 Hi There!

I have put together a card for Sassy Scrappers from the Graphic 45 Sweet Sentiments collection. I decided to pull out some embossing folders & dies to have a play & add some texture & dimension to the card.

I love using a mix of patterns & colours for interest. The gorgeous vintage  image was fussy cut from the Easter Greetings paper.

Scrapbook Adheisive by 3L Valentines Keepsake card

Shell Carman- Valentines Keepsake card
Hi There!
Today I have a quick & easy embossing tutorial. Most of you have probably tried this stamping & embossing technique but I really wanted to show you that you’re not just limited to your papers. I love to jazz up my keepsake envelopes with some stamped images & this is a great way to go about it as there is no ink that can smudge on the plastic. Once the image is set with a heat gun then it is there to stay!!
As Valentines day is around the corner I have created a Valentines Keepsake card. The keepsake envelopes are a great way to secure those personal love notes & cute mementos!
1. Take your desired keepsake envelope size, a versamark ink pad in clear & a stamp

2. Press the stamp onto the clear ink pad & then stamp image onto keepsake envelope

3. In a glitter tray sprinkle embossing powder over stamped image. Shake off excess powder & set with a heat gun. Be sure to keep the heat gun a good distance away from the envelop as it will melt the plastic

To decorate the card & keep with the Valentines cupid theme I also used the 3D Foam Hearts & 3D Foam Wings. I sprinkled embossing powder directly onto the foam shapes & set the powder with a heat gun

Sassy Scrappers- Love card

Hi There!

My turn on the Sassy Scrapper blog today. The sun is shining how exciting!! Spring is just around the corner & it has inspired me to create a soft, romantic card to celebrate the end of Winter!!

I have used the softer colours of the Kaisercraft Porcelain Rose collection again mixed with a little red & black to give a more vintage look.

I have cut some vellum paper to size & embossed it to give a nice dimensional appearance. I then stitched the vellum onto the Dearest paper then adhered to the cardstock base. This way the stitching won't go through to the other side of the cardstock making it look messy from behind. It also allowed me to tuck the ends of the lace under before stitching.

Products Used
Kaisercraft Porcelain Rose Dearest paper
Kaisercraft Collectables
Kaisercraft paper blooms Dusty Pink
Kaisercraft mini blooms fire red
lace

Sassy Scrapper- Fairy Dust Card

Hi There!

I have created a sweet card using the Kaisercraft Enchanted Garden collection for Sassy Scrapper. I wanted to add something a bit different & special so I decided to create a card surrounding some magical fairy dust!

This is such an easy card to make but it is so adorable! The base was white cardstock cut 6X12" folded in half. I then cut a whole approx 1"X 2.5" so that it was big wnough for a small glass bottle to fit in.
I then made to small slits in the back of the card & threaded some organza ribbon. The ribbon was then tied to the glass bottle to keep it in place.
For some extra special magic I put some glitter in the glass bottle for fairy dust.

This is a card that any little girl would love to receive!

Sweet like you

Hi There!

It’s Winter in Australia & it’s getting so dark & cold. I miss Summer already & needed to add some brightness to my day!
I have made a little card to put in my card stash for all the school kids’s parties that seem to be never ending at the moment! I like to keep a bunch on hand because I’m really not super organised with that kind of stuff & I’m generally running around at the last minute trying to find wrapping paper & a card to go with the present!
I have used American Crafts Mayberry collection using the Mapleton Drive sheet for the base cut 6″X6″. I then layered the Mapleton Drive sheet using the reverse side cut 5.5″X5.5″ using E-Z Runner Permanent Strips Refillable Dispenser .
I fussy cut a frame from the Shady Lane sheet & used some 3D Foam Squares White- Regular Size to add some dimension. Even though the Lemon Fizz Cardstock sticker book was self adhesive I still ran some Crafty Power Tape along the back to make sure it didn’t move! I also used the Crafty POwer Tape to stick the string of sequins down.
To stick down the flowers I used some Dodz Medium . I love how quick & easy they stick flowers down! For the Rainbow Splendor felt heart I added some extra support & dimension by layering it on top of a 3D Foam Heart.

Kaisercraft Flora Delight- Love Card- Sassy Scrapper

Hi There!

I'm sharing my last post for Feb using the Kaisercraft Flora Delight collection. I have put together a simple card that was quick & easy to do!

I have kept the sentiment simple with just the word 'Love' so you could use the card for anything from Engagement Parties & weddings to Birthdays or Mothers Day

I used some Kraft cardstock as a base to give a more vintage feel

I left the Kaisercraft wooden frame raw so that it would blend with the kraft paper

I have used lots of collectable with the sentiment, frame & flourishes. Some flowers, seam binding & bling were used to finish off the look!
