Hello!
Hello! Just wanted to pop in and say hi! I can't believe it's been over 6 months since my last post, time flew by way too fast just like it is already this year! We are getting ready to work on some home projects which include new dog kennels, front porch, more painting (not my favorite but almost done!) and lots more. We have a busy spring/summer planned but it will be so nice to finally get some of the big projects out of way. Our new dog kennels will have an inside area with air conditioning, heat and a raised wash tub for easy bathing. Washing 6 dogs is hard on the back so it will be nice to wash them and not have to bend over and also get soaked! The best part is the fencing will have smaller holes than the chain link in the lots we have now so no snakes will be able to crawl through. There will also be a fenced in play area attached to the dog kennels for the dogs to play in over the summer. One year we had a rattlesnake behind the dog house in one of our dog lots, so glad the dogs didn't get bit! It was the first time I ever heard a rattlesnake rattle it's tail, it was loud. We had three rattlesnakes on the property last year so keeping the dogs safe is my main priority, after all they are my fur babies! Hoping to get the kennels done within the next few months before the snakes come out but a neighbor told us last week that he has already seen a black snake so I guess they are coming out because of the warm weather we have had. I don't like snakes!
Wanted to share a few projects I've worked on over the past few months, some Easter and some shabby......
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!
Annette

Hello Annette! So wonderful to hear how you are doing! Looks like you are keeping super busy! The new kennels being snake proof will be wonderful!! They are not my favorite thing either!!! Love all your sweet spring tags and cards! Such a lovely time of the year with all the trees blooming and spring bulbs coming up! I am just home from traveling to Oregon for my sister Beth's wedding! It was a lovely time for the whole family! Happy Spring to you and yours!

I love what you do!! I wish.you had time to post more, but I certainly know how that goes. Take care and have a wonderful spring!
I just love your cards and tags and other goodies. You are so talented. I am scared of the snakes getting to my dogs, too. We live in Florida and I see snakes every summer. We had our swimming pool filled in so we have not seen as much wildlife come into the yard. We had a lot of different reptiles and animals want to get a drink out of the pool when it was hot or had not rained in awhile.
It's great to see you post and hear your updates - as usual, you stay super busy. Glad you have time to still create these works of art - lovely!
Yay, Annette! SO happy to see a new post from you, my friend! Sounds like you guys are keeping busy out there at the new house. Your new kennels sounds like quite the undertaking. Those are going to be some pampered poochies! Loving all your sweet and shabby Easter crafts! The pink and aqua combo is so, so pretty, and I adore all the glittery and fluffy bunnies! Really love that card with the woven basket and the dimensional candy eggs. That looks like a ton of work, and totally jaw-dropping! Everything is! You do such beautiful work!
Take care of yourself and have a wonderful spring!
