How to: be out on a limb

Hello there! Busy, busy week, full of challenges, designs and school madness. Today the new challenge starts at

OUT ON A LIMB

Think birds, animals, people... anything on a limb (branch). Surprize us!

I've found this vintage image with Hilda a few weeks ago and I thought it will be perfect for this theme. So here's my DT card.

I've found this pin-up girl named Hilda on Pinterest, she's hilarious and I really love all her adventures. The image is distressed with distress ink and placed on a corrugated cardboard upcycled from the delivery milk box from my school.

I used lots of scraps from different collections here, as I have loads of them in my stash. As all of you probably have.

I made my DT card using this hilarious Hilda image.

I made this card as a B'day card for my friend. And you know what? She looks a little bit like Hilda. And has got a great sense of humour. Fortunately for me LOL

I have added a lot of 'sea' embellishments here, all from my stash. This tiny bottle has got some 'amber' inside (it's very popular in Poland and easy to find at the Baltic Sea).

Sometimes I really like to go shabby chic and this is what I did here. May I have your attention to this tiny pear, please? My Mum's family name is 'Pear', so I had to add it here. It was a 'must' LOL

All of these embellishments are from my stash and this pearl button is from my Mum's stash, which she gave me, when I started my cardmaking adventure.
