Raja Azmi arrested because of warrant of arrest issued against her: Police

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 19 – Film producer Raja Azmi Raja Sulaiman was arrested by police today because of an outstanding warrant of arrest against her, said Ampang police chief Abdul Jalil Hassan.
He said Raja Azmi, 51, had come to the station at 4pm accompanied by a friend to lodge a police report on news coverage about her and that police acted on the warrant.
“Police had several times looked for her at her house on Hulu Kelang regarding her failure to attend the hearing, and in fact, had done so twice today at 1pm and 2pm, but failed to locate her.
“We believe she was at home when policemen went to her house today but no one opened the door. As such, when she came to the police station we had no choice but to arrest her,” he told reporters at his office here.
He said Raja Azmi was now detained at the women’s lock up at the Pandan Indah police station and would be brought to the Kuala Lumpur High Court (Commercial Division) in Jalan Duta at 8.30am tomorrow.
On July 21, Raja Azmi, who is wife of former national badminton player Jalani Sidek, failed to turn at the same court concerning a bankrupty hearing.
The front pages of most newspapers today carried reports alleging that she was the cause of the divorce between national badminton player Roslin Hashim and his wife. – Bernama

Ni apa kaitan anak2 sidek dgn cerita ni? hahaha! Saja aku malas nk letak gambar Raja Azmi.Dah dia menantu family tu,tak banyak,skit pun tercalar juga nama keluarga Sidek kan..
notabulukaki~ aku tak suka dgr perkara2 camni sbb aku peminat cerita anak2 Sidek.Satu masa dulu dalam diri aku rasa bangga betul tgk adik beradik dorang, org melayu to be more precise, org jawa laaa, main badminton wakil Negara. Skang ni dah gelaran tu dah direbut oleh kaum lain pulak..sedih!
