Magnolia Noah's Ark & Kenny K/MIC Stair Step Card

Hi there everyone!  I just wanted to share with you a couple cards I made in the past that were published.  My first card was in a past issue of Magnolia Ink magazine.  I worked pretty hard on it and wanted to share it with you here. I used several Magnolia animal images and a Make It Crafty background.

Next up is another stair step card I made for the Whimsy Stamps Online Magazine that was published a little while ago using Kenny K and Make It Crafty images.

I loved making these scenes and I hope you enjoyed looking at them and would love to hear what you think. Thanks for stopping by! Have a great weekend!

funky wall sayings, city landscapes and of course a range of super cool street signs.

Make it Crafty is trying something new offering all the different elements for you to build your own urban backdrop.

Here is my card:

I used the wooden fence and sidewalk digi background image from Make It Crafty. The KennyK image I used today is Brooklyn Babe and fun urban sentiment is from Raindrop Echo Designs both can be found at Whimsy Stamps. I also embellished with Make It Crafty's awesome chipboard gears.

Your next stop on HOP B is the Whimsy Inspirations Blog but before you go make sure you leave a comment below!

You have until August 21st 8PM Australian QLD time to make your way through the hops!

It's Saturday and time for another challenge at Crazy 4 Challenges! Today we have a sketch challenge for you. Here is the sketch:

And here is the card I prepared for today:

I used this KennyK image that I got from Whimsy. Isn't she gorgeous!? I colored her with the following copic colors:  E11, E00, E000, R20, W3, W1, W00, E35, E31, YR23, Y23, Y21, Y000, BV13, BV11, BV000, B97, B95, B91, B000

My sentiment is also from Whimsy and I used Basic Grey papers. That checkerboard pattern is a Martha Stewart punch.

I will enter this card at the following challenges:

Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge blog - anything goes
Papertake Weekly - ribbon and pearls
Let's Ink it Up - anything goes
One Stitch at a Time - anything new - my image is brand new

If you would like to play along with us, all you have to do is create a card/project, and upload it to your blog and/or to your SCS Gallery using the keyword C4C71. I hope you'll play with us this week! hugs!!
