MFT Product Tour - Hello, Friend!

Hello again! It's time for the Product Tour which means all of the new sets and die-namics are available NOW! Feel free to RUUUNNNNN to the MFT store now or check out my card then RUUUNNNNN to the MFT store! Hehe! I'm featuring the Ring Me set and matching die-namics. I ADORE this set!!! It is SO fun! The font is wonderful!

Here's a peek at the inside. I did second-generation stamping on the cord in basic grey ink.

Here's a details shot. I didn't adhere the bottoms of the mix & match banners so I could curl up the ends a little and add more dimension.

I made my own "epoxy" brad using some diamond glaze. I completely ADORE the detail on this die-namic!!!! Other die-namics I used were the small scallop border, mix & match banner and the scallop ribbon border.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Ok, NOW go to the MFT store and pick up all those must-haves before they're gone!!! And don't be a stranger!!!

MFT Teaser - Day 4

Hi and welcome to day 4 of MFT Teasers! There are some AWESOME goodies to see today, so I'll get right to it! I had a tough time choosing which set to work with but decided on the gorgeous Finishing Flourishes. This set is a must have!!! There are several sentiments that cover any and every occasion and they are nice and BIG! And such a pretty font! AND to top it all off, there are oodles of different sized flourish stamps to fancy up a card in no time! Here, I've stamped two different flourishes using ruby red and saffron inks on the left panel. I couldn't resist adding a Botanical Beauty flower with a large pearl center.

Detail shot:
And more flourishes inside...
Other die-namics I've used are the small scallop border, leafy flourish, and the scallop ribbon border. Satin ribbon, extra little pearls and a bit of piercing finish it up.

MFT Teaser - Day 3

Hi again! We are now on day 3 of MFT Teasers and I'm showing you the Clearly Sentimental about Pets set which is this month's Triple Scoop. Incase you've been stuck on Pinterest too long and don't know what the Triple Scoop is about, here are the details from the MFT Blog:

Our Triple Scoop reward is a full-sized stamp set offered to you absolutely FREE with a qualifying purchase of $60 or greater (before shipping and tax).

The set changes with each monthly release, and is not yet available for individual purchase, so there is always a good reason to spoil yourself with MFT!

On to the card! The set has wonderful sentiments for any pet lover, to include sympathy cards. I decided to use this sentiment because as much as our German Shepard, Chief, drives me crazy with all that hair, I'm glad to have him around and the boys love him! For the "collar", I used the new Pet Charms die-namics. The rounded part was cut out using the Mix & Match Banners die-namics then I punched some holes and hand cut the little prong thingie (have no clue what to call it! HA!) to finish off the "official collar" look. The buckle is actually 3 layers of cardstock - wanted it nice and thick. The bone charm was attached using a ring off an old keychain that was laying around.

The sketch is the MFTWSC57. Silver brads and piercing finish it up. Ok, now a message from our sponsors... :)

MFT Teasers - Day 2

Hello and welcome to day 2 of the MFT Teasers!!!! Is that new WTG TOO COOL or what?!?!! Today we have three sets we're featuring and I have two cards for you. The first is using the stunning Inspired by Lighthouses. *LOVE* There are 3 beautiful lighthouses with several sentiments. I inked up this lighthouse using my SU markers (*gasp, I know, right?!*) and then went over it lightly with my aquapainter (wow, that takes me back a couple of years!). I wanted to soften the look so I covered it with vellum. Don't you love how nicely it fits in the First Class Friend die-namic?!! Those girls sure know what they're doing, I tell ya! The outer teal layer was distressed and sponged with some cocoa ink. Oh, and the sketch is from the sweet Karen G.!

Here's a detail pic. This sweet little embellie was made using the circle from the Ring Me die-namic {swoon} and see those little points? It's from the scrumptious new Botanical Beauty die-namic! Yep, it's one of the flower centers but with the circle and brad over it, it felt nautical to me.

Inside pic: that strip of espresso cardstock is the negative from the postage stamp edge die-namic that I used on the front of the card! I love using my scraps!!

Now for my second card I used the new Fix-it Fred. Ain't he the cutest?! He was colored with copics, cut out and put up on pop dots. Hey, look, remember eyelets?!?! LOL! I decided to bust mine out {must be in a throwback mood!} since I feel they work well with masculine cards. I stamped the sentiment directly onto twill (and yes, I meant to have it more to the left of the card *wink*) and added some cappucino twine. Other die-namics used on this card are the crown border and You Move Me, which I can't say enough about. I. Love. That. Die-namic! The denim dp was embossed with a houndstooth folder then sanded to bring out the details.

MFTWSC57 - Picture perfect birthday!

Hi all! Can you believe it's Wednesday already?! This week is flying for me! Here's my take on the latest MFT sketch. I've been hoarding these Jenni Bowlin papers for, oh, too long, so it was time to use them! This card will go to my sweet sister-in-law whose birthday is coming up. She's a photographer and I'm sure she'll love this Picture Perfect a la mode! {Hi Christy!} I colored this cool chick with copics and paper pieced her skirt. I added some shading to her skirt for a more realistic look and, of course, she's up on pop dots. The front sentiment was cut out using the mini tabs die-namic.

Detail shot of that gorgeous Fringed Perennial die-namic:

A peek at the inside... I used the open bracket border die-namic with a sentiment from the Astronaut Girl PI set. It actually says "Happy Belated Birthday", but I left out the 'belated' part.

Thanks a TON for stopping by! Check back tomorrow (well, really midnight EST tonight!) for the beginning of my MFT SNEAK PEEKS!!!!!!!! Wahoooo!!!!

TS Monday - Keeping it Clean

Happy Monday!!! Time for another Totally Stampalicious blog challenge and this week we're keeping it clean! LOL, and by that I mean the layout and embellishments. I thought this Freshly Made Sketch was perfect for the TS challenge. I also took the "clean" theme one step further and decided to not color my image. I'm a little unsure about it. Feels nekkid to me, ha! But I also think it's a perfect card for my boys to give to their dad. This cutie is from the Occupation Bears set that was recently released. The only embellishments are a little thread and 3 small buttons. Oh yea, I also cut out a border with one of my dienamics and added a little faux stitching.
Now swing by Totally Stampalicious because we still have Dessert Menu special going on!!! Don't miss out!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great week!

MFT WSC56 ~ Celebrate!

Hi all! I hope everyone is doing well in dealing with the crazy weather we've had all over! I know some storms rolled through here around 5am and woke me up! Moving on... here's my card for the latest MFT WSC. I used little miss Cause for Celebration, which, because of the sentiments, you may feel is geared more towards New Years. Well, obviously she's ready for ANY type of party with that pretty dress and noise maker! I colored her to match the dp, which she does by the way, despite what this pic may show... you know how that goes! The sentiment is from the First Class Friends set.

The inside sentiment is from the Sweet Greetings PI set.

Thanks for swinging by!

TS Monday - For the Men

Hi all and happy Monday! Here's my card for this week's Totally Stampalicious challenge - For the Men. Who doesn't love Gus?!?! The old man cracks me up! I paper pieced his boat and colored everything else with copics. I took a little paper clip and bent it so it was more like a fishing hook then attached the sentiment! Ha! My only other embellishments are a strip of twill and a zig zag dienamic border.

The inside:

Thanks for stopping by! Be sure to see what the rest of the talented TS crew have for you!

SSSC150 - Buckets of Love

***Don't forget to check out my blog candy post HERE!!! I'll be selecting a winner on Sunday***

Hi all! I wanted to share this card which I made for Karen G's Sweet Sunday Sketch. This is my first time inking up the Buckets of Love set from There She Goes. With Valentine's day around the corner, I decided to use the hearts. I had to add the extra strip for my sentiment. I used two dienamics, some brads and my piercer to add the finishing details.

Thanks for stopping by!!!

MFTWSC55 - Sending happiness

Hi and welcome to another MFT sketch challenge! I had this Crazy for Daisies PI inked up and she was staring me down, so I figured I better use her! She was colored with copics and is up on pop dots. The smaller kraft layer was cut out using the First Class Friend dienamic. I also used one of the mini rolled roses, one of the mini tab foursome and the postage border dienamics (on the inside). I decided to continue the rounded corner theme from the First Class Friend dienamic on the bottom corners of the card front and on the inside, as well.

I finished it off with some bling on the mini rose, some taffeta ribbon and two different embossing folders. Thanks for stopping by!

TS Monday - Sweethearts

*** Want to win a Bugaboo digi?? See post below this one!***

Hi and happy almost afternoon! I apologize for the late post! My husband's Giants won last night and we celebrated with friends. So here's my card for this week's Totally Stampalicious challenge - Sweethearts! I used one of the newly released sets, Monkey Love. These monkeys are TOO CUTE!!! He was colored with copics then cut out and popped up on pop dots.

I'm so happy I got to use some of the heart shaped bling that I got oh, probably over a year ago. I finished it with a felt heart, a glittered "u" and some sparkly ribbon.

Thanks for stopping by!

Special Delivery

Hi! Everyone ready for the weekend? I know I am! Here's a card I made for the Flourishes Blog challenge for their new release. The paper pieced bassinet is from their Baby Love set. I used a few different dienamics ~ file tab, dizzy border and fringed perennial. I've had this pretty shiny ribbon for years and am happy to finally use some of it! This card measures 3 5/8 x 6. I know, a little odd but I like it!
A peek at the inside. The heart was cut out using a dienamic from the homespun birdhouse die set. The sentiment is from the Flourishes set called Friendly Reminders. A row of pink bling finishes off the inside.

Sending you Love

Hi! Here's a card I made for the first MFT wednesday sketch club challenge of the year! I used this week's Color Throw Down challenge which was black, grey and red. The only stamping on this card is the sentiment on the front and the "XO" on the inside.

The heart is cut out of MFT felt using dienamics. I used a couple of other dienamics on here and finished everything off with big brads and a button with twine.

Thanks for stopping by!
