New season of inspiration!

Helloooooo! No need to panic but yes, I am BACK! And we have a TON of inspiration coming your way over on The Card Concept Challenge Blog! Imma be honest - I thought I forgot how to stamp, it's been so looong... but with a great inspiration pic and some cool dies, I think I did ok :)  Sentiment and dies are all Birch Press Designs. Cardstock and ink are all MFT.

I hope everyone had a great summer! We look forward to seeing all of your beautiful creations!

CAS-ual Fridays Inspiration Challenge

Hi all!  Here's to another Friday and better yet - a long weekend!  Wahoo!!  We're celebrating our 200th CAS-ual Fridays Inspiration challenge with a birthday theme! I created the background and also used one of the sentiments from the Whole Shebang stamp set. I added a little more interest with the Jumping Jacks Fri-dies and some glittered gumdrops.

CAS-ual Fridays Inspiration Challenge

HI all!  Yay for Friday!  We have a new challenge for you on the CAS-ual Fridays Inspiration Blog!

I used the Pretty Posies stamp set and matching dies for the sketch. I simply cut out two of the flowers with different cardstocks for an ombre effect, then stamped the flowers onto the dies with black ink.  'Smile' is from the Smiling Fri-dies trio.  I cut it out of black card stock three times, then layered them. I also added some black enamel dots for extra interest.

CAS-ual Fridays Inspiration Challenge Time!

Hi all!  OMG it's December!  GAH!  I sure hope y'all are more prepared for the holidays than I currently am, Geez Louise...  Lol, it'll be fine.  Everything is fine!  HA!  Well, it's time for a new CAS-ual Fridays Inspiration Challenge.  Bring on the winter blues!  I stamped lots of the images from Bring on the Snowflakes onto my Cornflower blue card base. A few are even embossed.  I stamped that big, beautiful sentiment from the Merry set in Nightshift Blue and die-cut it with a circle die.  The smaller snowflakes around the sentiment are from the Merry set, as well.  A few glittery gumdrops add a finishing touch.  This also fits the FMS315 sketch.

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to play along for your chance to win :D

You are fiercely awesome

HI all!  Here's a card I made for the MFTWSC342 using the new stamp set, Fierce Friends.  I did quite a bit of masking here.  I colored the not-so-fierce tigers with Copics, then used grape jelly, orange zest and lemon drop inks to sponge the background.  A little spritzing with water adds such a cool look - I'm obsessed!  I also used Copics to create the grass.

Have a fairy happy birthday

Hi all!  Here's a card I made using the latest MFTWSC341 sketch.  I went a little opposite with the sketch added watercolored layers on the ends and the square frame rather than the curved middle section :)  These fairies from the Fairy Happy stamp set are some of the cutest ones on the market!  I colored them with Copics.  I used an element from one of my favorite Blueprints (#25) for the sentiments.  Added a few sequins for more fun!  Everything was adhered with foam adhesive (except the sequins) to a Smooth White card base.

Happy Toile Birthday

Hi all!  Here's a card I made using a couple of sets from Lil' Inker Designs new release, along with an older set.  Laura had mentioned that the Vintage Flower Stamps were designed with toile in mind {hence the 'Vintage' part, lol}, so I thought I'd made a classic blue and white toile card.  I created my own pattern {with the help of my Mini Misti tool that I just used for the first time!} with Cornflower ink on Sweet Tooth card stock.  I then used the Vintage Label die to cut out matching Cornflower card stock, then embossed two of the stamps from the Vintage Label Sentiment stamp set.  The 'Happy Birthday' is from the Sketched Floral stamp set - it fits so perfectly with the Vintage set and die!  I used the Quilted Stitched Pattern die on the Cornflower card stock layer to add to the vintage feel.  I might just have to make a whole rainbow set of these cards!
