Here come the girls!!

After a little wait these beautiful girls landed on my mat and what a joy they are to colour. The little Miss Anyas are available from The-gretting-farm.They come as a set of 3 all seen in this post.
I have followed a great sketch over on Paper-take-weekly challenge. This week the sketch is by Dawn. I have turned the sketch on its side to fit the images. This pink and black card is made with designer papers from anna Stemplewska. The charm is of a braclet and all the images are coloured with copic pens. Papers are from K and co and the charm is from a bracelet.
Papers from K and co and charm from a braclet nothing better than recycling.

Thanks for taking the time to have a look and it would be great if you left a comment on what you think Hugs Jakki x

Before you think I have lost the plot. This card was totally created by my 11yr old daughter Kayleigh. Kayleigh loves watching me craft and always trys to sneak of with my stuff. That I finally gave in and bought some of her own things.Kayleigh is special needs and has done a brilliant job on staying in the lines as she has to concentrate alot to do that.(More than an average child) Kayleigh has followed the sketch on Crafty-monkeys challenge blog that is for kids. Zoe and her friend do a great job of keeping the challenge going and I know that Kayleigh is looking forward to joining in hopefully on a regular basis.

Materials used:

Dovecraft stamp and papers.

truck load of greetings

After a busy start to the week, I have managed to get into gear and complete the obligatory 3 cards on a theme.
On the high-hopes challenge blog this week they would like you to sponge your project. I have used sponging to colour the background on these cards. I have followed the Sketch-saturday sketch which was fun.
I love this stamp as the kids are sooooo cute. I wanted to make the most of the stamp and have adapted it to cover a series of occasions and made sentiments to compliment the image.
For the thanksgiving card I have used some paper that I have had for years and never got round to using.
I have replaced the pumpkin with easter eggs to make an easter card. I have used imaginesce papers and nestiblities to cut the shapes. For the birthday card I have used a cupcake instead of the pumpkin. I have gone for a neutral colour scheme as I think these cards would be great from kids to grandparents.
I have used the birthday cuttlebug folders to make the background and basic grey papers inside and out.
I was hoping this image would come up alittle bigger but this is the images lined up.

Stamp: High hopes Wagons full of blessings

Papers: Easter Imaginesce, Birthday basic grey

Flowers: Prima

Coloured with copic pens.

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you like what you see.

Friday sketchers meets whiff of joy spring set

I finally received my Whiff of joy Spring set and couldn't wait to ink one of them up and this was the lucky stamp. I have combined her with the whiff of joy background flowers.I fluffed up alittle on this one as I wanted to use a duck egg blue ribbon to go with the card and put a lilac one on instead. I have followed the sketch over on friday-sketchers. It has been awesome to play with. This is the inside of this card. I had seen these trifold cards on Claudia's blog. If you have never been there click her name and it will magically take you there, be warned you will need a cuppa and comfi seat as her work is worth browsing through as it is stunning. If you have read my earlier posts you will know that my DH has asked me to make cards in 3's. The flowers on the inside of this do match like on the outside. To make things more fun I have used the same papers and sketch but jigged them about so they are different from each other. This is the third one outside and in.
Materials used:
Whiff of joy Spring kit image.
Paper: K&co for the main part.
Basic grey in the centre of 2 of them.
Flowers are all from prima.
Ribbons are various I have.
All are coloured with copic pens.
I have put the close ups of the 3 as I love how different they look in the different colours.
I hope you like them and have enjoyed looking at them. Thanks for spending the time to drop by x x x

Spring is in the air!!

The challenge over on High-hopes challenge blog this week is to create something for easter or spring. At first I thought oh no I don't have spring papers. I started looked through my stash and found some papers I had picked up at the weekend. When I picked them up I wondered what I was going to make with them but wanted to get them as they where bright and Nikki inspired me to step out of my box. So here it is, I didn't have any spring or easter stamps so I jigged about with abilgail abit. I drew some ears and cut them out then added an easter egg in her hands. I think she looks at home in her new look.
Keeping up with the pact that I had with my husband I have made 4 of these. Nikki made a rectangle sticky note gift and when I saw these sticky notes at Asda 4 of them for 99p I knew what I was going to do.
This is the inside of the gift, I have stamped the first note with 'you're a good egg'. I have used some ribbon to create a hanger for them so they can hang out fo the way until needed.
The green one is alittle different as I went shopping today and picked up some nice precut chipboard sentiments and wanted to use one on the last of these gifts.
Before I forget Nikki has some blog candy to give away as it is her first year in the world of blog. Pop over and have a look at the awesome work she has created in the last year.
There is also some amazing blog candy up for grabs by the wonderful Bev click her name to check out her amazing blog candy. It is no surprise that Bev is celebrating 150,000 hits her work is stunning.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you like what you see x x x

3 cards 1 sketch

My dear other half has decided that I have to make 3 cards at the same time, so here we go. I have followed the sketch from friday-sketchers challenge blog.
I have stamped the little hanglar girl from the valentine collection she's so cute. The ribbon on this first one moved and I am so tired I didn't take another pic sorry. Thats me being lazy. The butterfly are accents on the paper that I used to make some detail. The papers I have used are from K&co hydrangea pad. The pictures are not very good. The round stamps are from aud stamps
Gone for a colour combo of lavender, green and warm yellows. This is the inside of one of the cards. The paper did all the work I just layered it on some lavender card.I tried to make them different from each other while using the same paper and image.
Materials:
Paper: K&co hydrangea stripe pad
Stamp: Hanglar and stanglar valentine release
Prima flowers
Coloured with copic pens.
Thanks for taking the time to stop by x x x

The greeting farm

I have few things to share with you today.
Firstly I have to thank Marie from The-greeting-farm for my little feature. I am a filling a gap for them as a guest designer. They have some lovely stamps you can check them out HERE
I have made a couple of projects with some of the Anya stamps that they have. This is Princess Anya she is so cute and great for lots of different occasions. I have used her to make a valentines gift. In the middle there is a chocolate in the shape of a heart.
Materials:
The greeting farm: Princess Anya
Bo bunny papers
The dolie heart is from my special friend Maya
For this next one is used Angel Anya. I coloured Angel with my Copic markers. I love these Blonde moments sugar dumpling papers. The Martha Stewart punch adds some great detail to the card. I made the verse for the inside.
I added a chocolate on the inside and stamped the heart and you onto it. The flowers are from Prima, I have hung a heart and used jewel brads for the centre.

On the back I have used the punch again and the angel charm says "made for an angel on the back".

Materials used:

The greeting farm: Angel Anya

Papers: Blonde moments sugar dumpling

Prima flowers.
