A Month Full of Posts...In One
Well, if there are any of my blog readers still out there I have exciting news...this week we signed the final papers and received the keys to our new house! We're all pretty happy with all the extra space we'll have. In fact, everyone will be able to have their own room!
This means I can finally move out of the office closet and have a room with a door...and a lock!
But while one hurdle is over (waiting for the house), another one is looming in the distance (moving everything into the house). So I have to ask you for a little more patience with this whole blogging thing. I rarely even have time to sit at the computer, much less create anything to share. Besides, all my crafting things are packed away!
I did make one final batch of cards, however, before things got put away. These went into my hostess packets this month. The stamp set is from the still available You & Me scrapbooking kit. You can get your own set for only $15 this month (while supplies last). Part of the proceeds from the sales of these kits will go to the Red Cross to help give relief to those effected by the severe weather in our country.
Here is my card:
Stamps: CTMH You & Me
Inks: CTMH Juniper, Sweet Leaf, Cocoa
Papers: CTMH Wings Creative Basics, Cocoa, Colonial White
I still had the Creative Basics pack out when I did these. I love, love, love that pack and I'll have to remember to get more before the end of this Idea Book's cycle!
This would also make a great Father's Day card. It's just around the corner!
I'm embarrassed to admit I had to...*gulp*...buy my Father's Day cards this year.
It was pretty painful to do, too. You know how many stamp sets I could have gotten for the price of 4 cards?!
I hope to be back to blogging soon, with more Studio J layouts until I get things unpacked. And speaking of Studio J...did you know you can create a layout this month and get a free JPG of it?
Just log on here (or create your account...it's FREE) and get started on your layout. When you've completed it, just choose the free JPG download at check out. Super simple!
Have fun creating!
